I am impressed with the instructions you alway give for all your projects. I have been teaching sewing for years and still learn new things all the time. Visual is very important. Thank you😊
Excellent instructions.
Great tip about folding the zip teeth towards the outer... It gave a neat finish.
Tabs at the ends of zips can be useful if your zip is a tiny bit too short, but your way allows the pouch to open wider🎉
Cute block!
You’re a very good teacher, thank you!
Hi. When I see you have posted a new video it always makes me smile. I click on it immediately. Thank you and have a nice day.
Great video!! You are great at teaching - I’ve never heard or seen anyone tell how the zipper goes!!! Thank you!!!
I’ve been binge-watching your videos while I crochet, and I love the way you explained this! I’ve always been a bit leery of zippers, but I can’t wait to try this!
Do you have any videos on making button holes? That’s the next skill I want to tackle! 😁
Never done a zipper, but I am going to try this now. Thanks!
❤
I made 2 today in different sizes. One was made from a quilt block; the other from fabric. So cute. Great directions. Especially the zipper.
Fantastic! Thank you
Love it!!❤❤❤
Super Cute!❤
Have you considered doing a box pouch tutorial? I would love to see how you would do it.
Very nice 🤩 Thank you for the video 😊👍💕
I have watched this video approximately 10 times...Wonderfully clear instructions. I am going to give this a try! Also, I wanted to ask about your Janome 6650, and if you would mind sharing what you think after a year of using it????
Nikki, thank you sooooo much for your awesome instructions👏👏👏
I really enjoy all that you have to offer! I’m excited about that quilt pattern too.
Question- I’ve not seen that particular marker; tell us about it please and thank you. ❤️😀
Thank you so much! The marking tool is called a Chaco-liner and it’s my favorite.
where did you purchase your striped fabric? I love the colors! When will you be releasing the video for the block you created? I love your videos!
Cute pouch! Love it so much. Where did you get the yellow marker? Would love to know. Thanks!!!!
You don’t cut the ends if the zipper off before turning it? I love that it looks more triangular when you fold the block in half. Super cute!
Yes, I do, but I forgot in this sample and noticed when I edited the video, haha!
@@PinCutSew Oh! Good! I was wondering. Thank you for clarifying ☺️😉💕
I need this video so badly because I always fear the zipper (I just avoid it).
Do you cut the extra end of the zipper off? I always thought you could do that but I didn't see it in this video.
Hi Nikki, I am a self taught quilter, I never learned how to sew in school. Therefore I have a mental block about zippers. I went to order your pattern and it came up in English pounds. Is that your shop as you are in the US right?
Hi! Yes, I’m in the U.S., but sell patterns in most countries, so the currency is translated by my website. Were you on Etsy, or the pin cut sew site? And are you in the UK?
@@PinCutSew Thank you for your quick reply. I am in Canada and was on the Etsy site. I will check out your site where hopefully you won’t have to pay an Etsy fee.
Why didn't you clip off the excess end of the zipper?
So didn't just get tucked between between the lining and the outside piece?
Genius tip about which way to face the teeth! Thank you for sharing, my future pouches will look so much better!!
