    thank you, if you are the lightest shade theres no need to highlight I suggest u go into mac bc it sound like you have olive skin undertones and check with a mac artist and you can see if the lightest shade would possibly work.

    Hey there lady! You know what I have to say that this was SUPER helpful to me as I think so much emphasis gets put on finding the right dark shade to contour with as opposed to finding the right light shade to contour with...especially on women of color. So good! I am just getting up and getting ready to get dressed and I can't wait to change it up to more highlighting as opposed to more darkening...if that makes sense lol. Good video!

    MsCreativeDiva....I absolutely love your look. I am a newbie when it comes to the foundations and concealers. i noticed in the video, you use two or three different concealers on the same areas. Is that to build up to the light highlight color? What would happen if you would just put the lightest shade on? Let me tell you, Ive tried this at home and was a fright...lol. Practice makes perfect. Also, i have puffy lids and undereyes. Do you recommend any tricks to minimize the puffiness? Ive tried products from MAC and Lancome...nothing really helps.

    • @MsCreativeDiva
      @MsCreativeDiva  11 років тому

      thank you hun so much, I use 2-3 to make a nice transition to the brightest color plus it gives more coverage, but if you don't need much coverage and just a normally I mix 2 concealers. nice highlight, then i would suggest getting a shade that is 2 -3 shades lighter. if I were to put the lightest shade on, then you would see a cast. lol hey its alright practice makes perfect. wow If mac isn't working I would maybe trying cucumbers but I think Clinique has a depuffing cream that's what you need, something with caffeine in it. I hope this helps :)

    I love the finished look and you are a clearly talented makeup artist. It all looks so overwhelming though with so many different products being used. I have never used foundations or bronzes, so for a beginner like me, what products would you recommend using to achieve an even face tone?

    • @MsCreativeDiva
      @MsCreativeDiva  10 років тому

      thank you, well I have softened it up but it is still a process, I would suggest a bb cream and maybe a light powder

    Question....i wear nw45 in foundation. I like yellow based concealers. Do you think i should do nc45 or nc42? I want a good highlight but not too loud. I had nc35 and it looked crazy so i traded it for nw40, which is too natural to me.
