the Indian air forces did not save them nor sent a rescue party, it's 3 french soldier that did a 3 days detour in the mountain to save them and then bring them back , the India army just picked them up at the base camp so yeah, ungrateful

@@julien3794 the french didn't do sh!t. They were on their own track to climb the mountain. They didn't know anything about the missing women. And they did NOT do any detours. They accidentally discovered them because they were climbing through the same track. Their go pro footage shows that. They then contacted emergency service which told them to take the couple to a place from which they will be airlifted. The Indian airforce did several search and rescue operations but the position of the couple made it difficult to spot them. So after they were taken to a clear spot on Indian airforce's instructions, they were airlifted. The French didn't do sh!t except take them to a clear spot that too on Indian airforce's instructions. Get your facts right.
@dannyquinn9128 but did the insurance cover all rescue costs? Surely if it was set up like that they'd not be rescued until insurers had agreed to pay so probably not
@@luxhistoriae1172 french only discovered them and bought them to a place from where they can be seen and airlifted. They were then airlifted to safety by Indian army. French had no contribution other than accidently discovering them. They were on their own mission, NOT looking for them.

Its public tax money and unless these trekkers are on scientific or research missions with full liability on them it begs the question to be asked that who pays Eventually for these rescue missions if these are leisure treks ?? Also who would be responsible if God forbid something happens to any of our precious personnel during such rescue missions ?
