Been listening to Gino Vannelli since 1974 and totally smitten with his music. Could never understand why his music isn't more widely appreciated. ... Being 1/2 Italian...This video.brought back memories of many of my deceased relatives who had just come from Italy back in the 50s. Thank you so much for sharing..
I think it's because he so far above pop music --- there'a pop element to it, but it is more sophisticated, and not for the masses. But, those of us who get it, adore what Gino does. I just saw him for the first time in Annapoiis, a two hour drive from Philly. Spectacular!! He's brilliant! The band sounded fantastic!
Thanks for sha- ring. I have loved Gino's musical talent for MANY decades. I saw him LIVE in LA at the Saban Thea- tre a few years ago. Your family is a treasure. God bless you! From singer, painter, nurse, author (Passages of a Pilgrim) Joanna. Faith
Great fan since 75 and when I visited Montreal, I took a walk around the city listening in the car to a CD I recorded at home with the songs I like most by Gino, as I've never seen him live, this was my tribute to this great singer/songwriter/instrumentalist who I really like until today!!! Who knows if I'll still have the opportunity to attend one of his concerts...it's one of the few left on my list.
I have often wondered why he moved to the United States, and why he performs in a lot of the cities there, but not so much in Canada? His beautiful voice and gorgeous arrangements for me will always personify la belle ville. "Crazy Life" always brings to mind lazy Sunday nights walking in the rain on the Plateau.
What a great Uncle Vic you have and the best brothers!!!!! The three of you seem to be so close, you are very lucky. You must have the most understanding wife knowing all of us women adore you and your talents, and I thank her for sharing a small piece of you with us 60+ women. You bring such joy to everyone. Thank you.
Very nicely stated, thank you! I'm 54 and have followed him since my brother worked in a record store from '73-'76 and would bring home Gino albums. Fell in love with his voice and immediately became a fan and have followed him ever since. The most admirable quality about Gino is we know how much he loves his beautiful wife and stays faithful to her.
Fell in love with Gino in 1981 when the album Nightwalker came out.... Along with the hit single Living Inside Myself.... I was 13 years old back then and I'm still a huge huge fan ❤
Thank you very much Marc ...its so rare people reply on UA-cam I was surprised to see your message . GIno will actually playing my home town next year in November. I can practically walk to the Theater ! I hope to have an iPhone before then ....many many Thanks again Joe
The4thstooge A pleasure to chat with a Gino Vannelli fan! All the best with your filming! Don’t hesitate to walk right next to the stage to shoot, or else it will be just light dots on a dark background. Samsung or else work too. Just make sure it’s HD/4K. Enjoy the show!
I have seen Gino 10 or 12 times over the years .My 1st concert was in Philadelphia 1978.I have meet the nicest people in the world among Gino fans ...thank you so much for the input ,I plan to use the DJI Osmo Gimbal Stabilizer. I can send you some specs on the DJI thru Facebook if you like . Stay in touch, Joe
@@garyt5582 EXTREMELY FAMOUS? He had one or two hits in his whole career I'm 2 years older than Vannelli I don't have to look at the past, I LIVED the past. He was a small time POP star. Please don’t refer to the woman as, “The old lady”! That’s just rude and insulting!
So they're showing the roots and family of someone who was never famous? This isn't Paul McCartney, it's Gino Vanilla
He’s been extremely famous .. take a look at the past buddy
