Hullo friends! Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Essentials, by far the weirdest and the worst entry in the series, exclusively for the PSP! With no second analog for camera controls because it's PSP! But thx to hacks by modders, it is now possible to control camera via second analogue on a gamepad! And recently it's been hacked to run at 60 fps! Yeah, alright, that's enough. xD So, this might be the definitive longplay of this game, as it includes everything that matters, looks very well visually, now also runs silky smooth, and with a showcase of the second analogue during gameplay, and it's actually... much, MUCH better experience than on the original hardware. Though, it wasn't all that was bad with this game. The levels are also much simplified compared to the original games, visuals are cut down heavily, the new missions are meh/weak, the old wants were remade in a not-so-good fashion. But still... a good stealth game, and very playable now! I wish PSP released with the second analogue, my god that might have been the biggest blunder in the history of gaming, PSP could have swept the entire market if it did have the second analogue and many, many more games due to it - it's just a terrible limitation of what the hardware can do! I rated this game as 6,5/10, the lowest rated Splinter Cell game ever, and that's AFTER the much-needed hacks here! Yeah, it was not great, same as Double Agent (except for OG Xbox version which was very good). And then the whole series went to shite. Ehhhh. Anyway! The splinter cell series needs a return even if its a remake. Ubisoft realy fucked it up in the end.
