    Honestly there are a million "beauty gurus" out there, that all do their makeup basically the same way. They contour the same (even though they have different noses and facial features) They use the same products as each other, too. But none of them give actual cosmetic advice and tips, like you do, Wayne. You are the best, I love that you give genuine tips and tutorials. Thank you, you're timeless.

      I wanna 100% agree with the comment above me. You’re the only one I have found that does it the real way, and is always honest, and not a UA-cam/TikTok way. I remember trying to do mine like an influencer I saw that had beautiful make up on, she looks gorgeous and flawless. I honestly look like a clown trying to join the circus after the fact because it was so dark and pigmented, but gotta say it looked AMAZING on camera. 😂

    • @Evelyn-uo1rb
      @Evelyn-uo1rb 6 років тому +50

      Exfoliate! You'll have a smooth nose. I use exfoliating pads, pretty much every day, or a scrub pad, they're reusable. Check if your moisturizer has silicones, if it does, maybe you could try argan oil or rosehip oil for face, if you put oil on face your skin start producing less oil and your skin should get better.

    I've noticed mattifying primer works better on my nose than regular than regular primer. I don't use mattifying anywhere but my nose and just my cheeks close to my nose, but I'm trying this! I was one of the nose comments on last video! I do my face makeup in my bathroom and then I do I make up and lips in my dressing room as a vanity. When I sit down at my makeup mirror my nose is already bare! Using the mattifying primer is helping. Then I've been using some consealer under my foundation, but I don't like the looks. Can't wait to try this!!!!

    Thank you for this. My nose runs when I'm hot, which is most of the time, lol. I never have foundation left on my nose 2 hours after I put it on. So thanks again, I will be trying this out!

    Thank you so much. I have to say that this is a question I've searched on UA-cam and Google for a long time for an answer. My problem is that the foundation won't even stick to my nose in the first place. I've got large pores and its always shiny/oily. I did find a tutorial once, I don't remember all the steps anymore but I do remember that it involved MAC eye-primer paint pot and foundation on top. I tried it once and it worked, the only problem was that at the end of the day I had a huge pimple on my nose. And this for someone who does not suffer from acne. I've never had acne in my entire life, not more than the occasional pimple that time of the month, when I was a teenager. I have found something else that works for me now though. I just thought I'd try that and it works for me: all I do is I don't put primer on my nose. Just a setting powder, and then a powder foundation from MAC ( I normally don't like powder foundation I find it too dry, but I only use it on the nose). I'm not saying this will last all day but at least it sticks to my nose. What I do is that I have blotting papers with me and I just use it after a couple of hours and reapply some of that powder foundation. This way it lasts all day. :)

    I always break the foundation on my nose, even powder foundations...until today! (dehydrated skin with oily t-zone)
    I tried today the Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay In Place and the Estee Lauder Double Wear Nude Water Fresh
    (i moisturized, applied the foundations with a damp beauty sponge, lightly dusted a bit of powder on my T-zone and then used my setting spray)
    I did not expect this , but Stay In Place looks better on my skin then the Nude. Even on my dry patches it was looking good and i only had to blot twice in 11 hours!
    Fingers crossed that it doesn't break me out because i finally found a foundation i like .

    Wayne do you know any good nuggets of information for heavy sweating for the summer. Things we can do to reduce it and or the best way to keep my makeup on while sweating maybe a few waterproof foundations highend and drugstore options..Please and thank you. 💄👝🦄💯

      THAT is my main concern as well , I really hope he does a video on this.
      Spend good time doing my makeup looks great then I’ll walk from the car to my hospital job and get inside only to be sweating up a storm and my makeup ruined!😠🙄😭
      Glad someone else can relate and I feel for you dear... 🙏🏽💜🕉

      Patriccia H. Yes I sweat horribly and once I start it takes forever to stop and I've tried several things like drink plenty of water, tomato juice etc it doesn't help me I have never been able to wear makeup in the summer I wish I could afford botox

      Rebecca Brooks does Botox helps with sweating? I sweat so much that during summer I don’t even apply makeup

    I just finished watching your video on how to prevent foundation lift-off, and I immediately thought to myself that this mostly (not only, but mostly) happens on my nose. And this video popped up!
