Unfortunately any pigments would degrade the material performance of this resin. However, it accepts any of your standard hardware store paints really well. I’ve had lot of customers easily paint match them to their truck!
How do these stay in position with the oblong hole in the body in the rear for that quick on and off you do in the video? Seems like they would slide back and forth and you would have to fiddle with it to feel it catch.
@@robsp32 it is such a small amount that it is fairly easy to find the spot when putting the body on. There is also a washer style flange on the underside to keep it from slipping through the slots opening.
@@kevin_fine Hey just wanted to let you know I got them in the body today, they work good, but I would make a suggestion to make the wing nuts a little bit taller or wider so your fingers can grab onto them a little easier. I guess they are pretty tight fit when new and its kinda hard to grab and turn with my fingers, not a lot of surface area. Other than that, they work fine. Maybe a little more depth on the keyed halves for durability would be my suggestion but the design is great.
@ thanks for the feedback! It’s a tricky balance between ease of use and having them too high where people don’t like the aesthetics of it. I do recommend sanding the bottom of the small tabs on the underside if it’s a little tight as just a little bit of sanding will make it easier and shouldn’t affect the locking ability. Take your time and just take a little bit since it shouldn’t take much!
Amazing but any chance black color instead of white or clear?
