There is actually some great land based fishing there. I caught a Barra most mornings off Rocky Point boat ramp as an example. I will cover a bit of it in our next episode. Very pleased you enjoyed it.
Great Ep guys, Love Penny my favourite spot on the Cape, Just love hunting Black spot tuskfish on the reefs there with a handline, I mite of been there when you were, Had 5 weeks there.

@@ausventurebound Yes them Tuskies are my favourite eating fish up there, Ok lovely we mite see you up at Kalumburu at Macgowans camp if open in around June July, Either that we are going to Nhulunbuy or both if I can take our 15 year old Daughter out of school for 6 weeks, We be back up the cape in September either at Penny or Cape Melville if we can get a Permit or Both, if you want a laugh chech out my crappy Utube vids, Tomkinson Productions or Craig Tomkinson produtions, rough and ready like me with a few tips, like you Iam a older farmer as I did not get on with my Brother when dad passed,but retied from farming living near town now, now a casual school cleaner,

Loving the series mate. Had some great sessions on the Weipa markers so this brought back some good memories!
