Unreal footage that shows off the true beauty of the land. Great information for tourist coming to the area that have never seen how amazing Weipa can be.
Absolutely brilliant Scott! The cape just keeps on getting better & better! Terrific job with the filming & editing. Always loved reading yours & Dave Donald’s articles! Cheers!
Many thanks for that mate. So glad you enjoyed our story. Please share it far and wide so that we can build a good audience and keep doing it until we fall over
Loving the series mate. Had some great sessions on the Weipa markers so this brought back some good memories!
Hi Rob, Really glad you are enjoying it mate. Next episode you will see some cracking fishing out on the lead markers. Such an awesome spot!
Great footage Scott! Bit different to our trip to Weipa (no boat, no fishing). You sure have had some great experiences!
There is actually some great land based fishing there. I caught a Barra most mornings off Rocky Point boat ramp as an example. I will cover a bit of it in our next episode. Very pleased you enjoyed it.
Great Ep guys, Love Penny my favourite spot on the Cape, Just love hunting Black spot tuskfish on the reefs there with a handline, I mite of been there when you were, Had 5 weeks there.
Thanks Craig, might catch up there again soon mate with some luck. Not sure if I will get there this year as Kimberly's look like where we might be, but a quick trip up to The Cape could well happen too. Those tuskies are sensational eating.
