I love your creative spirit but also your humour. My problem is starting hobbies using all kinds of materials but getting impatient and then moving on to something else. I might have to start a 2020 goal to fins a medium and stick to it for a whole 12 months! Keep being you, I can’t wait to see what you get up to in the future

@@ZanVonZed thank god... I was a bit concerned ♡ googled pictures of davon rex and their whiskers looked normal, googled again and found out they really are that short o.o gorgeous art in the video and learning stuff in the comments. I like it
@@ZanVonZed ahh I was close I was thinking Cornish Rex. … obviously I need to brush up on the cat breeds and refresh the difference between the two. edit- On looking in my book " Devon is stockier than the Cornish and has a broader head." I didn't get a good look at the cat to see those aspects, no wonder I thought it was a Cornish Rex.

I really dig your technique for the second bake, haha! 🔥 What kind of resin do you like to use? I used to use a lot of Liquid Nails 2 Part Epoxy, but not so much anymore for anything that's visable- it yellows over time. Now I tend to just a use 2-4 coats of gloss varnish on things like eyes, teeth, & other wet-look areas.
Gorgeous art!! How long did it actually take for you to complete this piece and other similar projects, just approximately? Also, does one need specific sculpting tools for this? I have a metal set but they're not exactly like the ones you use which look pretty darn useful, I wouldn't know because I havent formally trained in sculpting so please enlighten me, any information helps. Omg, I have that same tool with the rounded back and flat front that reminds me of a teardrop! It is soooooo versatile with clay sculpting!!

I like Epoxycast resin from Barnes (Australia/NZ). I find some varnishes go sticky over time. Good quality resin doesn't seem to do this.
