Raksha Bandhan 2023

The festival of Raksha Bandhan not only celebrates the love and duty between brothers and sisters, it also has a social significance. It underlines the notion that everybody should live in harmony and hence speaks about the rich culture and traditions of India that make our nation extraordinary. To help our children learn about the culture of India, various activities were organised in the school on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
Like every festival Shiv Ashish School GSEB celebrated Raksha Bandhan in a gala way.The event started with a special assembly presenting the love between brother and sister through a dance performance and melodious songs.Students sang and danced exuberantly. Respected Principal - Ms. Namrata Sheth in her speech gave a message to all the students ."This festival symbolizes the beautiful bond of love and protection between siblings. Let's cherish our relationships and always stand by each other's side, just like the thread of a rakhi.

The students of Grade I to XII participated in the various activity like Rakhi Making , Card / Envelope Making, Thali Decoration, Gift Wrapping and Non fire cooking of sweets. They exchanged Rakhi and chocolates to each other.
This thread signifies the bond of protection.Their colourful attires and infectious smiles dazzled the day.
We at Shiv Ashish School not only cares but teaches the root of Indian Cultures.
