I just love when you speak about your favorite fragrances. My favorite discoveries this year are Sonata’s Dolce Melodia ( think citrus Spring in Italy) and Initio’s Narcotic Delight. Enjoying Mishmas so much!
Yep. Portrait of a lady , an all time favorite of mine. Never gets boring. Such wonderful complex fragrance.😊 also love Aqua drop from Loewe, more for daily use.
Hi Michele, since you love ‘’cola’’ scents, I’d highly recommend that you try Mancera Tonka Cola. I love it! (I also love both of the Frederic Malle fragrances you mentioned, too!). ❤
I’ve discovered through lots of testing and watching a lot of The Perfume Guy’s videos that my favorite ingredient is tuberose. I haven’t had a “signature” scent since they got rid of the original Calyx, but omg when I met Carnal Flower from Frederic Malle I was HOOKED! I’m also a huge POAL fan as well - I have you to thank for that! ❤❤❤ Hugs to precious Miss Butters!
Firstly, you look gorgeous, love this make-up look, but you NEED to try Tom Ford’s White Suede. It’s one of his original private blends, and it will turn a first date into a third date. I wear it exclusively in the winter because IMO nothing compares
I don’t know much about fragrance, but have really gotten more interested in it this last year. I use a couple different sampling companies & actually have some new fragrance samples arriving today!
@ I know samples are ridiculously overpriced, but I always like to try new things (perfume, hair care, skincare, etc.), so samples are my preferred way to buy fragrance. Anyway, my samples are: 1. Happy Dust by Narcotica 2. L'Eau Papier by Diptyque 3. White Rice by D’Annam 4. & 5. Yesterday Haze and O’ Unknown! by Imaginary Authors
I absolutely love your makeup today. I just got my delivery today of the Dior lipstick in twinkle and the Burberry eye quad in midnight. I love them so much! The lipstick is such an interesting effect. I have so many of the Diptyque fragrances - I am a fan - they can do nothing wrong. The Louis Vuitton fragrance sounds so interesting. I am also a big fan of Vilhelm fragrances such as Faces of Frances, Dear Polly, and Mango Skin. Bond No. 9's Greenwich Village is my favorite from their collection. Also love Adventus for Her by Creed. I have Benjoin Boheme by Diptyque from the same collection that you like. Also love Tom Ford Bitter Peach & Lost Cherry. Great Video.
Good Morning Michelle and Butters! I love your descriptions of these scents and the wearability for dating. We seem to like the same scents and I, too, am drawn to a smoky scent that evokes a memory.
Lindeman’s Peche & Framboise lambic are my favs! I discovered it when I went to a B-day party at a beer bar and asked for the least beer-like drink because I’m not a fan of beer, in general, and I’ve been drinking it ever since!
Your descriptions of perfumes is so rad! ❤ when you do these types of videos. I’ve been thinking of getting that first one you’ve talked about since last year! But I love Tom Ford’s Ebene Fume for this time of year!
These videos have me SO glad that I’m getting an espresso machine for Christmas, otherwise I would be SO sad watching you enjoy yours everyday 😂. I’ve been a pour over devotee for years but 2 weeks in Europe this fall turned me into an uppity espresso drinker. I realized the reason I never liked Americanos and lattes as much in America is that coffee shops use cups that are too big so the ratio is off and the espresso is too diluted.
My favorite beauty must, perfume. I have to wear it every day or else I feel naked. It's awful when they discontinue a scent that you're in love with. Portrait of a Lady sounds wonderful. I did purchase a small bottle of the Armani Bois d'encens. It smells like Frankense and Myrrh. Yes, just like the inside of an ancient church. My best friend growing up belonged to a Ukranian Catholic Church, and that's the smell! I like it used sparingly, especially in the cold, winter months. Bond No 9 is one of my absolute favorites. I love gourmand fragrances, especially when there's a hint of chocolate. Not sickenly sweet. Perfection. Thanks, Michele. Have a great weekend!🥰🩷
A beloved, very good friend of mine is a fraghead & she rocks both POAL & The Promise by FM. Your vlog made me think of her ♡ Bois d'Encens sounds right up my alley, I love a smoky incensey fume. Oh & you look stunning, Michele, truly. Your make-up here is 🤌🏽 cheers 😊
My favorite all year fragrance is Tom Ford’s Soleil Neige, although technically it’s a winter fragrance. My second favorite is Tom Ford’s Bitter Peach, this is a fall and winter fragrance for me. A recent discovery, discovered it last summer, is Jo Malone’s Frangipani a Sephora exclusive. It has a bit of lemon in it so it balances out the sweetness of the frangipani flower.
I’ve been enjoying the Montale fragrance Intense Caffe’ that you hauled a few weeks ago. I always get compliments on it. Thanks for the recommendation.
Hi Michele, Ristretto intense 12 is a bumped up strength of the original Ristretto Italiano, intensity 10, espresso lineup. Flavour and taste should be the same but intensity 12 gives an extra jolt of caffeine ☕️
Happy Mishmas, Day 13! 🎄 I love fragrance and I do have several Tom Ford and Kilian perfumes. But, recently I've been enjoying a few Oakcha dupes of the high end perfumes. The cola one that is SO good is Colaroma. I could bathe in it. Love!
I love today's vlog. Now I need to try these! I tend to not be able to wear many scents as they change on me with my body chemistry. My signature fragrance is Coco Mademoiselle from Chanel, and I love it and get many compliments. However, I need to get a little adventurous and this is giving me the impetus to do so!
I recently tried a sample, just out of curiosity, and I loved it so much more than I expected! It’s really quite wearable and sophisticated while still managing to be a pretty photorealistic soda scent.
Loved this! I have a big collection of mostly niche fragrances, and Portrait of a Lady is one of my top favourites❤ You have a cool selection of different fragrances, I love that you are not influenced by what is being hyped right now. Other fragrances worth checking out could be the extraits from Maison Crivelli, Amouage (Guidance is great, but polarizing), Halfeti from Penhaligon's (used as a room fragrance for their store in London), Gozo from Jereboam, Scherzo from Miller Harris and Babycat from YSL. Would love to see more of your fragrance collection!
hi! i have a question about yarn. what do you think about alpaca silk blend? 75% + 25% . how it wears, washes and all of this? if you know i liked you description of Portrait Of A Lady 😊
You have me dying to try hypnotizing fire, but don’t want to purchase a full bottle without trying it. I saw online “Scents of Mood” out of California sell sample sizes of perfumes decanted from original bottles. I have never heard of them, but I thought it was a brilliant way to try scents. Anyone know anything about them?
Love your fragrance content! I just got a sample of Sandalwood in Oak by scents of wood and to me it’s such a perfect holiday scent! I’m a sucker for sandalwood but this has some notes like smoked sage and burnt sugar that make it feel like Christmas to me. My current “fancy outing” scent is Rose Omeyyade by atelier des Ors-to me it’s an incense rose but with a really sophisticated darkness and sweetness. But my sexiest scent is A La Nuit by Serge Lutens-jasmine jasmine jasmine. It’s funny I don’t think of myself as liking sweet perfumes but then several of my current loves are sweet. Maybe all this cultural obsession with gourmands has subtly brainwashed me 😂
Such fun Michele! And I keep thinking of that Armani scent ever since you first discovered it. I think it will be my present to myself. I'v been enjoying the seasonal scents from Ffern in the UK - you have to sign up for their list, they make limited quantities season by season and then ship to you with a little box of treasures plus a sample so you can try before opening the bottle ... and they have a bimonthly podcast of evocative sounds called As the Season Turns that has fascinating found sounds. It's a wonderful little treat with lovely scents unlike any others. I also love scents from Kerosene - definitely plays in that gender fluid space and has depth. Oh my ...
I could listen to you talk about fragrance all day long. This is a talent!
Michele you describe each fragrance in such a beautiful way, that make me wish to have all of them.😊❤
I just love when you speak about your favorite fragrances. My favorite discoveries this year are Sonata’s Dolce Melodia ( think citrus Spring in Italy) and Initio’s Narcotic Delight. Enjoying Mishmas so much!
I’ll have to check those out!
Your brown make up look today is stunning 🤩
Your sweater and lipstick combo is perfect! 🤎
Your description of products are simply beautiful!
Oh thank you!
Yep. Portrait of a lady , an all time favorite of mine. Never gets boring. Such wonderful complex fragrance.😊 also love Aqua drop from Loewe, more for daily use.
It's so interesting to hear the favorites of influecers outside of the fragrance content creators. Loved your picks and how you describe them ❤
i love, love this video. i'm a perfume woman and you describe these so nice. thank you for sharing.
Hi Michele, since you love ‘’cola’’ scents, I’d highly recommend that you try Mancera Tonka Cola. I love it! (I also love both of the Frederic Malle fragrances you mentioned, too!). ❤
Creed , Aventus for women, a fave and of course Diptique Eau Rihla
My favorite is YSL Babycat. It lasts, and changes throughout the day. It’s sexy and smoky and mysterious.
Good morning Michele and Butters! Love your lovely natural makeup look today.❤
Good morning! 🎄 Thank you!
Firstly, you look gorgeous, love this make-up look, but you NEED to try Tom Ford’s White Suede. It’s one of his original private blends, and it will turn a first date into a third date. I wear it exclusively in the winter because IMO nothing compares
As soon as you said church incense I was hooked I’ve been searching for something that evokes that vibe! So thanks for the Armani rec!
Thank you for introducing me to these! You look gorgeous today.
Lipstick Rose by Frederick Malle is great! Ive used it for a few years now, was suggested by Rosie Hunington Whitley, thanks for the video
Kilian has still Boys, but reformulated it and renamed the fragrance to Born to be Unforgettable. It has another name, but it still Boys 😊
😄Loving all the scent suggestions! Both from video and the comment section! ❤
my favourite fragrance this year was commodity paper, its such a perfect and pure wood scent
Your lip today is absolutely beautiful! I need it!!!
I don’t know much about fragrance, but have really gotten more interested in it this last year. I use a couple different sampling companies & actually have some new fragrance samples arriving today!
@@rose2m ooh what samples? Living vicariously since I’m trying to not order new samples EVERY day 😂

You had suggested l'ombre dans l'eau a few months ago and I adore it!
I have 2 bottles of Lindeman's Raspberry Lambic in my fridge right now!!
OMG!!!!! Enjoy... I have the fondest memories of Lindeman's 😊
Lindeman’s Peche & Framboise lambic are my favs! I discovered it when I went to a B-day party at a beer bar and asked for the least beer-like drink because I’m not a fan of beer, in general, and I’ve been drinking it ever since!
@@rose2m Peche sounds delicious!! I'll have to look for that next time!
@@rose2m ohhh....now I must try Lindeman’s! I to fall into the "not a beer drinker" at the beer bar / brewery on occasion.
You have given us such great descriptions of these fragrances 🎉
All new scents for me. So interesting. Loved it. :)
Favorite fragrance is Blackbird Pipe Bomb Intense. I get so so many compliments. Great video! 💘
Your descriptions of perfumes is so rad!
❤ when you do these types of videos. I’ve been thinking of getting that first one you’ve talked about since last year!
But I love Tom Ford’s Ebene Fume for this time of year!
I'm wearing Bouquet Ideale by Xerjoff today and I'm sure you'd love that! x
This is my dreamvideo from you!
Beautiful video x

Oh man I used to love the raspberry Lambic! Haven't had it in years but I am sure it is still good if I had it now! ;)

I love perfume, and diffusers, well fragrance in general!haha🫶🏻
Me too!!
My favourite is also Rihla from Diptyque. I have also tbe cream and the perfume hair. Have you scent Meo Fusciuni or Nasonatto ?
I love fragrance content!

Thank you!!! Will check it out!
I recently tried a sample, just out of curiosity, and I loved it so much more than I expected! It’s really quite wearable and sophisticated while still managing to be a pretty photorealistic soda scent.
I've been wanting to try this and Crumb Couture!
@ I didn’t love crumb couture on me as much, funny because I don’t like to drink coke but I love to eat croissants.
I have Lady of a Portrait. Love❤❤
I liked the Ristretto with brown sugar and a touch of cream but I am definitely more of a large cup of coffee girl. One sip is not going to cut it.

Eau Rihla reminds me a lot of Tuscan Leather by Tom Ford. A more refined and better quality version of Tuscan Leather. 👍🏼
