- I decided to take old farm roads heading north in California searching for Petro related treasures. This video captured quite a few treasures found along the way!

I like to signs on the outside of that Barn it really makes it look sharp
Thanks I like the look of a barn decorated with signs myself. Rarely for sale when you ask but that’s completely understandable because they hung them to display and enjoy.
About 14 minutes and 20 seconds on the timer you showed a brown Nova. Sheer solid gold. Assuming it's as rust-free as it looks. I like it
That Nova was rust free! You have an eye for the details and gold . I think you have earned the name Car Old Discover based on your experiences .
@@gaspumprob do me a favor. I've told you the story where I would not go back to California to pick up that 1957 nomad. I come out for that Nova. At the right price. Assuming some other items don't stand in my way. So if you get some detail on it how to appreciate it.

Good adventures in the California farm belt. In 1974, I traded a days labor for a busted up '53 Chevy 3/4 ton pickup. In the ten or 20 year after that you could buy those trucks, dead in a field, for $500 or less. The other day I came across a pretty nice '54 half ton, the guy wanted $15K for it. I can't say I am $15K in love with an old pickup, or even could be.
"God Bless America" is exactly what I feel when I see old machines like that. It doesn't make me want to own one/them, though.

Great haul Rob. I scored a few more pumps here in Saskatchewan as well. I got a Bennett 646 last fall and this past weekend a friend and I scored a 756 and a 1066 Bennett pumps. He took the 756 and I took the 1066. They came from a local town just out side Saskatoon. You are so right, they are still out there.

@@gaspumprob I like to say you have the second best channel on youtube. But I can't say that. Because I like them to say mine is better but it isn't. And I'm okay with that 🤠. I wish I could find an emoji in a white tech suit. In my opinion you're tied with three maybe four others for first place. Remember my parameters are in favor of the smaller channels. I know your channel is 8 times the size of mine. That's all right because I've been told size doesn't matter 🤔🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😮🤣🤣😳 . Consistently put forth and quality product. Newport some unique perspective and content. I know your last dachshund show did not do as well as the first. But given time it'll pick up steam. But where else am I going to find that at? Also chooses a Japanese truck over good American iron 🧇. 🤣🤣🤣 Okay I'm about to read this as an inside joke. Ask Mr gas pump to direct you to the proper video

Great finds. Still some pumps to be had. Not many in my area(Ky). The short Wayne you showed where you got the Gilbarco was a 100A. The 100 looks totally different. More like a 60 and it has unusual curved glass on the face. The top rolls over like a 60.

The peacocks I like them. I work on animal place where they had peacocks and I still have feathers from where they dropped them. Has been a while back

The overall production you have even surpassed here in the normal high standards. This move nicely. This episode slow nicely. A varied content to be interested in. Also let's move that a good rate. Not too fast not too slow and it kept my attention all the way through waiting to see what was the next item you're presenting. You normally do this on all of your episodes. But this one you just had a little extra something in it

I think you are correct about that.
The 48 chevy pickup is not a stock truck. It has an automatic transmission and probably a V8 engine. Imho that reduces its value.
