    I found this super useful. It really helped me understand that this platform has grown beyond the 8266 "cheapo wifi" board into a whole platform in and of itself. Excited to try them!

    I use theses guys daily. Great for remote monitoring dew point and air pressures at the plant.

    I am very looking forward to this series. I've been struggling to make this transition and one stickler that comes up a lot is power utilization. Since I use mine off battery or sometimes with solar this can be a issue as it uses more power then the older simple ones. I'd love to see them with load and current test maybe? In any case this series will be very helpful.

    Yeah, i love the ESP32s, too. Too bad they don’t support 5ghz wifi. Also i am looking for usb hid support. This is only included in the esp32-s2 which is not „the“ esp32 but a more slimed down version (e.g. single core)

      But why would you want to send that much data into such a small computer? Can you even send that much data to and from that chip?

    Does ESP32 can deal with frequency measurements? Like if I want to build LC oscillation circuit, will ESP32 be able to measure the frequency?

    What are your thoughts on the Teensy 4.0 boards?

    Does it mean Arduino is dead ???

    • @zombie-survivor
      @zombie-survivor Рік тому +1

      Yes, Arduino is dead. Look at the new Uno R4 Wifi (with ESP32-S3) and compare that to standard ESP32 board.
      For new projects, avoid arduino at all cost.

      @@zombie-survivorAwwww noooooo ... Just ordered a new Mega :-(((. Thank you for the information. So will I be able to use UGS, and LightBurn properly with Uno R4 WIFI?

    • @zombie-survivor
      @zombie-survivor Рік тому

      @@rusticagenerica Avoid Arduino for new projects, it's expensive. It seems everyone jumping to ESP32 bandwagon.
      Here in my country, ESP32-DOIT only cost $3.6 and ESP32-CAM (with camera) only cost $5.
