Akira was my 2nd guitar idol... between Randy Rhoads and Yngwie Malmsteeen. Yeah... that's how awesome he was/is. My 80s metal cover band used to play "Let It Go" and "Rock and Roll Crazy Nights". Akira will always hold a special place in my heart... to the very moment I breath my last breath. Thank you Akira... just like you did with thousands/millions of fans... you made a difference in my life and I will NEVER forget that!!! :D

I went to see motley crews theater of pain tour at the Sports Arena in Chula Vista California. I was a big motley Crue fan and had only seen one or two loudness videos on MTV. I didn’t know much about loudness but I was blown away with their guitarist and they’re singer. Loudness may be the only opening act that didn’t get totally booed after their performance. Lots of love for Motley Crue but loudness was definitely an awesome band. In fact I left that Motley Crue concert with a loudness T-shirt. LOL!

@3.43 Probably one of Loudness' band members, My first reaction to him speaking were, it's like an indian chief from the western movies.
First time I heard Loudness in christmas 1985, I was blown away. I was just 19. I travelled back to 2nd semeester at school after New Year. I don't recall why I ended up in the car to one mate. He driver were a skilled amateur rock guitarist. I told him I discovered a new band 'Loudness', I said, 'heave you heard of them?' No, he replied. I asked him to put on the tape. I was waiting for his reaction. 'It's not at bad', he said, and I could hear the understatement and an exitement. I am sure the following up were 'Who are they?'
Mötley Crue were never my cup of tea.

everybody inc the entire thrash scene where afraid of akira's skill on guitar. a humble little japanese man blowing all the "ego" out of these preserved players. at least those thrash dudes recognised loudness and did'nt pull the ego card. f..... motley crue is "average" at best.

When they played in New Jersey , While Akira was performing his guitar Solo , Mick Mars and Nikki Sixx peaped out of the side of the curtains to watch him play. We all saw them .

4:28 Tells Akira his costume isnt gonna work because its too close to Nikki's Theatre outfit. Akira changes into a Shout At The Devil style costume instead. Gotta love Loudness!

What a Great Time to be a Kid growing up in these days! Awesome times! Loudness could have been an Awesome Act they just didn't have Management team who knew how to promote them The Right Way! One thing for sure These guys had the talent, had a great sound catchy songs. They were Great very good showmanship!

    視野が狭かったな〜、俺…。
    ギター弾き故、高崎氏しか着目してなかったのが残念!。

I remember thinking that their English was so bad but they were trying. Akira and that star guitar with the danelectro style ESP headstock, thinking that he was copying 1980 EVH quite a bit. They had exact copies of Mötley Crüe, Ratt, Saxon and others stage clothes -that looked funny to me in 84/85. I thought they were some goofy Japanese metal copy band trying to break in to America. Overlooked 'em completely back then. Not even a chance... then fast forward to later 2000's, 2010's and seeing way more Loudness stuff in recent times on YT and finally understanding what they were. Good hard rock band. Akira... incredible guitar player, not a clone, and SERIOUS guitar tone. Coupla great catchy tunes too. Singer can still do it too. Viva Loudness.

ESP was definitely copying ed’s charvel star with the dano neck look, ive wondered if ed caught on to that somehow and said fuck it or he just stopped using it after 1980 and had no idea about ESP & akira

I remember how I was so desperate searching for Never Again and 25 Days from Home from the karaoke songlist back when I was a lot younger..and I'm still am.
That MC's manager asking Akira to change his clothes was bloody hilarious and stupid at the same time.. lol!
