one thing you really have to keep in mind is that the only bloons that matter for time are the ones at the end of the round. you could technically wait to pop the first bloon until right when the last one came out and still have the same exact round time as if they were all popped immediately. things like dropping your first tower a few seconds late when you start a new run don’t matter in the slightest. this also means that towers like ground zero and tsar bombs are actually good if you just use the ability right at the end of the round after waiting for all the bloons to come out.
on the speedrun website, the closest category to what you are doing is "all five" in the category extensions, and its only easy, medium, hard, impopable, and chimps) and the only submitted run is 53 minutes on the map cracked
Just a heads up, jungle's bounty is more than twice as good as the 3rd tier. Two of them can beat 63 by themselves on most maps. Love this series, keep it up!
Honestly, Bloonsolver is broken because it’s one of the cheapest fifth tiers, but can solo chimps on all single lane tracks if you pair it with a camo village
I love this series so much. I always put these on to play in the background while just playin some other game. Ive been playing Bloons TD games for as long as i can remember but ive never really tried too hard, however these videos always tempt me and make me wanna start grinding tf out of TD6
The fastest thing is Super mines with smart spikes, ultraboost, and homeland defense because it can just spew so many mines at the start of the round and immediately decimate the bad.
On round 62 you clicked your ability when trying to upgrade the glue gunner. It didn’t cost you any time but if you click the blue arrow in the bottom left it takes the abilities off the screen and you are able to upgrade anything underneath where it would be. Ps. Love the vids, I look forward to watching these videos after work to wind down for bed. Been here since the 1st map!
I like seeing you just keep it casual... but a try hard every so often is great.... I find vine druid winding up in every strategy I use, but I think pod is probably more broken in general doing the odessy as an in between episode would be great to watch. it would also be good for you to keep you from burning out as well. as for your last run of this video; i leave you with an adage from Dark Souls (as a vet of that series) NEVER EVER EVER GET GREEDY my friend
Prince of Darkness is by far the most powerful for the money. but for BROKEN for the money? BY FAR the Stronger Stimulant Alchemist. The amount of power added to ANY tower, giving any tower the ability to pop any bloon, extra range, and extra pierce and pop. The only tower that comes close is the marketplace, adding additional income to give you an extra push towards towers you really want. I need to speed up again, you're posting faster than I'm completing now, but im on impoppable on the garden map (sliding windows on top).
I started playing BTD6 again after finding this series, and have black bordered 4 or 5 now I think. My favorite strat for alternate and up rn is an X-2-0 sniper + 4-0-2 tack. Sometimes I can get sniper to 4-2-0 before the first moab, but as long as the tack goes on a corner or crossroad, it doesn't really matter. And when you do get that tier 4 on the sniper, bfg clusters become mostly irrelevant. By round 70ish, (after adding a 0-2-4 glue and 0-2-4 wizard) I'm usually in a place where I can save up for the tier 5 tack (5-0-2) without farming, and its more than enough to get past round 100. Didn't bother mentioning monkey towns, but usually I just put a top path on the tack & glue right after the first moabs.
2:57 Dabloon I think the most broken tower in the game is actually the T-rex beast handler 64 /64. Get multiple T-Rex monsters in this game, boost them up with their beast power and they're unstoppable, particularly if you can pair them up with 024 glue gunners and 042 ice monkeys. BTW I was actually able to beat 1 2 Tree on CHIMPS Mode with a Giganotosaurus. It was indeed hard, but I was able to beat it.
In BTD5 I really liked the Special Missions, there like every tower disappears after a couple rounds or you get money to defeat 50 MOABs. Some of them I couldn't even win.
I think it'd be pretty cool to see how fast you could beat an extreme odyssey, I haven't really tried it myself bc I figured they'd take too long and wasn't sure if it'd let you save easily.
Personally for price, 032 Wizard is the most broken tower imo. Besides Purples it can shred down ANYTHING, even MOABs. It might gave a kinda limited range, but it's my go to tower for the Early Game since it can carry while I set up Farms
I think especially for the early game and lower level players, the 4-2-0 Glue is easily one of the most broken towers. Without farming you can easily get it before round 40 and it will carry you through to the 70s, even soloing 63, and it's not even a 10k+ tower like the bottom path plane. With farming you can get it early 30s or before and save for anything else you might want.
My top three broken towers, in terms of the effectiveness for the price: 1-3-0 Druid, 2-4-0 Mortar (on maps where the bloons loop), and 2-2-0 Dartling (on maps where there’s a lot of straight lines). The Mortar will get you clear through round 60, and that Dartling can easily get you past 40 as long as you have a sniper for the leads.
Hear me out, the sub obviously, then the tamer, super broken good carry even in 100+ and and the middle+ top path is just sooo strong bottom is also verry strong tho. The pirate ship + bottom path is sooo strong for money gen i think might even be better then banana farm for early game! It generates sooo much money if you have the space
The reason your Pop and Awe was lackluster was because you chose the bottom cross path. The middle path doesn’t benefit much from the flames. For all Attillery mortars, your should always cross path with the top path
This is really helpful specially when i play with my gf she loves btd6 , i am now clearing alternative in all of over favourite maps so we can play impopable and chims and have fun there
The alchemist is the most broken tower, in my opinion. The top path berserker brew and stronger stimulant make other towers absolute menaces. In combination with the bloon master alchemist deleting anything that isn't a BAD, it makes for an overpowered tower.
Why would you go for mad there? Also always have prince of darkness selected so that you can just click retarget if something leaks and it will spawn zombies at the back. Also why would you not put the dartling near the exit? He doesn't need MIB.
Is picking Heros a cheap answer? I don't care I'm picking Sauda. Having at least two plausible for the more inexperienced two tower chimps that I know of. Usable no matter the map. Pops leads and camo by herself. Can do clean up.
I genuinely do not understand the love for Sauda, I feel like I'm missing something. She has such a short range, which I know range isn't everything but it feels like being such a short range is a pretty big downside, no? I am also not great at the game so I'm sure I'm just missing something obvious.
1. You can use her as your first tower in most maps. As she's cheap to get. Same with Quincy but more reliable. 2. Camo detection, Quincy also gets camo detection but he cannot reliably clear waves 1-24 without help. 3. Sauda's level 3 is more of a life saver than you would think as it's pretty much just flaming tacks. 4. Her early levels demolish 1-39. 5. Her attack speed compensates for the lack of range. She can't handle MOAB class bloons but she can set up your run incredibly well. Late game is kind of mid but she shines more in early runs. You should use her more as she's pretty much the strongest hero.

Which, I guess Psi is actually fairly bad at doing damage early on since he's so slow, but I never considered using the heroes for their early game benefits. I'll have to try her out, thanks for selling me on her.

Druid of the jungle really is insane for how cost effective it is. It's hard not to consider it the most broken
Jungles bounty is really good rn, its probably the same if not better than druid of the jungle based on cost effectiveness

Sauda could literally solo 1-100 on release. Her abilities and fast attacks make her able to handle much of the early game on her own.
