Left out was a stained glass window in Eglise Notre Dame de Carentan that honored June 6 and 101st Paratroopers.
Unfortunately, we didn't make it over to the church while in Carentan even though we were close by.
LOVE THIS . I WANT TO GO HERE . MY DREAM FOREIGN TRAVEL .

It's nuts knowing some of this building survived the battle
Some were lucky indeed.
Normandyにおいて連合軍の優勢が決まった！当時のドキュメンタリー映像でしか見たことがありませんでしたが今は、このような所なんですね。初めて知りました。
