Hi everyone - all good things have come to an end eventually, and this video concludes my extensive Switzerland series. Please join me on my new travel adventures which will start next week. Wishing you a great week ahead 👍
I want to sincerely thank you for the most extensive and well done coverage of Switzerland for travellers! There are tears in my coffee this morning knowing the series has ended but you can be sure that I will be revisiting for years to come. This beautiful video has countless clips that would make amazing posters or wallpaper for PCs, such amazing drone and ground filming. Thank you again Janus and I'm curious to which country will be featured next? Cheers my friend!
@@edterryberry255 Thanks so much Ed, I really appreciate! I will take you on an amazing tour of Istanbul in the month of December and then I’ll show you some of the most beautiful places in Eastern Europe. I hope you stay tuned on my channel 👍😊🌸
J, this is Amazing. Can the sky get any bluer?. What a gift! The calf was just the most beautiful part of your trip because he or she went so well with the scenery. Leves ya speechless. Once I go,,,,not sure if I'm going to leave😁 I didn't realize that you could see Kleine Scheidegg from that peak. As usual, what extremely beautiful footage and all your Awesome work that you put into the video. You truly are a gift to utube and your own channel. Thank you my friend.!!! Please stay well and have a safe and happy week ahead. Your the best😀😀😀
Thanks so much Barry!! The place is indeed somewhat addictive. I think I had never ever seen anything like it. If you go, try to go in the morning when there’s less people. This walk is extremely popular since it’s probably the easiest and most impressive hike in Grindelwald. Stay tuned for my new series which will be quite different but I think really cool too 👍😊
Thank you so much for this video. Make my month! I wish be there someday. Thanks again and blesses for you for the chance to feel this magnificent and beatiful place ❤️🤍
Fantastic video! Riding the cable car is also a great way of sightseeing, and can take beautiful photos. The weather is quite beautiful! Cute animals look so comfortable, enjoying sunshine in the peace. Thank you for sharing.
It was my most beautiful experience. We travelled there last weekend (mid September). The weather was beautiful like at your case, despite the cloudy and rainy forecasts. I think it's a gift to me from the life. The assumed 50 minute hiking time became 1,5 h because of taking nice photos. It is definitely worth to visit. We came from Basel so it was a full day trip. Thanks for the video, I watched it a few times before the travelling.
Hello januslog my FREIND nice to see you back in Switzerland GREETINGS from Tecumseh Nebraska from your American FREIND Chris Yates from TECUMSEH NEBRASKA
There are lot to see in the Interlake area. Next time, I would like to stay there longer. Thank you for sharing the beautiful video with us on Thanksgiving weekend🌹.
Thank you for the amazing video. Felt like I was walking up there too. So magical, serene and beautiful. We are going there in July and this is definitely on my list ❤️
You just took my breath away with this video! I am planning to go on a trip from Austria to Switzerland's Grindelwald Region. Your video encourage me a lot! Thanks again. What camera do you use for photography? Did you went during the summer? I better start planning now! Thank you for this.
Hey mate, saw the video. I’m always a bit unsure about hikes as I am travelling alone but this video much the biggest difference, you are a legend mate keep doing what you’re doing.
I visited bachalpsee in august. I stayed in the guest house of first (close to the cliff walk). Woke up around 4am and started hiking towards bachalpsee. It’s amazing to see during sunrise and blue hour. Nonetheless amazing to see at any time. One of my fav places in switzerland
Wow - I think you may have saved the best for last - those blue skies and green meadows and lakes with the high Alps as a backdrop....just beautiful. How lucky for the cows and goats to enjoy this scenery day in and day out. Looks like you made a friend up there too - so cute. I have really enjoyed your Switzerland series and will no doubt review them! Lookig forward, however, to your new adventures - it is wonderful to see amazing locations through your eyes. Thanks so much.
HELLO Janus....this was perfect! Luv that you added the drone...very nice touches and again great eye. Love this place of all. Interlaken area is my fav. Thank you for your time and touches...wonderful eye...great edit...music....luv it. Have you finished the recent trip? Are you back in the states? Safe travels to you. Thank you for this wonderful work. See you Your friend Paul in Augusta
Hi Paul, thank you so much. Yes, it was a lovely day up there. I’m back in the US since September already, editing my new travel series of several countries that I will showcase over the coming months. It’s going to be somewhat different from Switzerland but I’m very excited about the new videos. Stay tuned for more 👍😊
I took the trottibikes from Bort, about halfway down from First. They are super fun. but if you do the full walk all the way down to Grindelwald, I'd calculate about 2.5 hours. From a station near First, there are also mountain go-karts available which looked fun too but I did not try them.
Thanks very much for your wonderful videos of Grindelwald, murren, Gimmelwald and surrounding areas - I visited 25 years ago as a backpacker and now plan on taking my kids back there . You seem to have great hiking weather - what month would you suggest to go hiking ?
Thank you very much Mark. I recorded this video in August and was lucky with the weather. But to be honest it’s a bit of a hit or miss thing in the Swiss mountains. If I had to go again, I would probably go in June or September but there isn’t a month with a good weather guarantee 😅
@@markhannan9387 the place definitely changes with good weather. It’s difficult ti time though and a bit of luck is needed. I even changed my travel plans slightly as I followed the weather forecasts 😅
Hi Janus! So happy to see you had a great time there. I was there too. I hiked up very early to reach this beautiful lake, to get the reflection of the mountain:) I stayed in the Berggasthaus First (in front of the cliff walk). Did you stay in Grindelwald or in First or just one day trip? Now I can't wait to see your new travel series 😊😊😊
Thank you Dina, I’m sure you loved it up there too. I stayed in the village and took the cable car up for the trip. Greetings and can’t wait to show you my new series of videos 👍😊
Beautiful video, thanks for the effort you put into this I am excited to our trip this June. Btw, what camera did you use for the vlog? Is drone allowed in the Lake?
Thank you! This was recorded with a GoPro and a Canon M50. Drones are allowed in Grindelwald but not in Lauterbrunnen valley. There’s a fly zone map available online for Switzerland which shows where you can fly the drone. Happy travels
@@januslog The doctor said it will take 3 months. Now I just finished to carry upstairs, in 3 transports, food and others, delivered by Amazon and Walmart, with some pain. I have a little hand truck with 6 wheels, it helped me a lot. You are amazing.

Greetings..lol glad your back and safe. Great to hear from. 👍😁
I have a bit of an issue with my knee. Is it an easy hike?

Yes, you should be able to do that
But I haven’t been there in December

When did you make this video?
you prefer Jungfrau region or zermatt region ?
That’s a tough choice but if I really had to choose I’d go for the Jungfrau region since it’s a bit more diverse in terms of things to see and do
50 minutes to the lakes and there are toilets.
