The boats normally leave in the morning before it takes a full day to explore the lake. We joined a tour, so the fee included the transport to the lake side, board the boat, tour the island and very special lunch. The guide will bring it to everywhere and you will be able to board the same boat on the other side of the island and head back to the shore. There should be a ferry service, cheaper, but it is not frequent and you have to make sure you don't miss the ferry back. So I recommend you joining a tour and you can enjoy a lot. Please share with me some photos when you go, if you don't mind. This island is beautiful and worth a visit.
