Shared room or dormitory is good option as you get to meet lot of travelers and hear their travel story and experience.. personally i prefer private room coz i need lot of sockets to charge my equipments 😅🤟🏻

Bhai log toh lekin bolte hai Kalga wala route lo jaate waqt kyuki vo jyada chadai wala nhi hai aur aate waqt nakthan wala kyuki vo firr aasan hota hai. But aapne toh nakthan wala easy btaya.

Nakthan wala easy hai while going up unless you are regular trekker.. kalga wala scenic hai but steep hai kaafi jagah

Usually if u stay in any hotel in Kalha village which is the starting point of the Trek then you can keep ur luggage in that hotel and go for the trek

Kullu,manali and rohtang are on the same route but Kheerganga is in parvati valley and you have to reach via kasol
Would suggest returning back u can go for Kheerganga

There is road till Tosh bridge and from there we have another 5 mins hike to reach atleast Pinky Cafe which is quite popular ✌🏻🙂

There is enough information available about this in cities but no information about accommodation in small remote villages in the Himalayas

While returning if you want to stay in Kalga or leave for Kasol then take the nakthan route via rudranag, the one I took in this video because it is well marked and comparatively easier than trekking from Kalga route
