Strong disagree on needing faster access to better teleport options. Things like Ardy have perfectly reasonable ways to get there early via things like the ardy lever, and you can unlock convenient teleports all over the game in no time at all. Part of the fun, like upgrading your gear over time, is improving your access to faster methods of travel around the game. It's extremely rewarding in its current state.
This in my opinion is mostly only true for existing players with game knowledge making new accounts. I don't think a fresh new player would discover alternative ways of teleporting around the game right away and would most likely think teleporting is limited to your spellbook. Hard to tell considering it's nearly been 20 years since I had that experience👴😧
@@hansemannj9486Hi! New player (4 months), almost got my quest cape. I agree that unlocking teleports thru magic, questing, diaries and skilling has felt very rewarding. The satisfaction from unlocking a new shortcut or adding something to my PoH is wonderful. It really feels like I (as my character) am becoming more entrenched in the world, becoming an actual habitant of Gielinor. The run energy changes are great and the game would also benefit from more run energy refills at various places. I think Achievement Diaries and the teleports they offer are really useful and would prove to be super helpful unlocks for new accounts with a little tweaking. They’re decent as-is, but could be even better: 1: Give each Diary item a teleport to the Taskmaster for each area, with a reducing cooldown instead of limited charges per day. Enables newer players to get exploring, questing and unlocking stuff sooner. 2: Let us build an Achievement Diary Armor Stand in our POH Skill Hall + Achievement Gallery for a feeling of accomplishment AND the Utility teleports. Perhaps make it so every full tier of diary items stored on the stand gives an escalating bonus to the teleport charges or something similar. Would make fully completing all diaries up to a certain tier feel super rewarding, more than just the sum of its parts.
I think stackable clues would be great but put a limit on how many we can hold. We could have a scroll box that can hold say 5. We can take clues out 1 at a time, and can have only 1 of each type out of the box. The same as Leagues but not unlimited.
For the gwd I'd be happy with it just remembering your kills when you leave the dungeon, might make spirit creature tasks good just so you can have like 3-8 entries to the boss room later on.
I think a way to balance the way stones, is to lock them behind quests within the region. Maybe once you complete enough quests in a given region, even if it's just a small handful, you unlock the ability to teleport to that region. That way it's not just a handout like RS3, and incentives new players to start questing
I like the idea of waystones, maybe an hour cooldown seems fair for a free teleport to any location, that alongside mini game teleports, jewelry, and tablets, we should have instant access to any place in Gilenor.
I'd be so happy if they added the spear, it's so fun. And also its stacks get reset every teleport and boss death so I don't think it'd be OP at all. Definitely think echo variants should be available in some form. And yes stackable clues, 3-5 so you can finish your slayer task before doing them
As someone who made a new account semi recently we already do kinda have loadstones already in the way of minigame teleports. However ofc it's hidden in game knowledge and there's no way a new player can find it organically. If they added a "grouping teleports" jewelry as a random event reward (or something) it would be way better for new players. Literally the same locations with the same cooldown. Just not hidden behind 5 interfaces
I have friends I got into osrs just for leagues that have been flying through it already t8 and we are 2 weeks in now I still have to remind them all the time about minigame teleports
The gwd boss respawn time isn't the problem and changing it only benefits high level end game players. Getting kill count for the bosses every time is pointless padding. i don't care what happens to the price of god wars items just make the experience of killing the bosses less tedious.
I'd love it if OSRS got a war horn item that you could play to set nearby boss respawn timers down to 5 seconds. it'd be amazing if it respawned the DKs off ticked similar to how the echo DKs fight begins!
i've said for a long time now that when people raid everyone should have their purple chance rolled individually. Because of the way current mechanics work, it is ALWAYS more efficient to raid by yourself because you can't get double purples in teams.
I've had the exact same idea about the pet transmogs. I would love to see it! Fits in with the theme of cosmetic rewards from leagues and they all look so great.
1. More KPH = More items coming into the game = Faster devaluation of said items. Adding a "bell" with a maximum number of uses per hour could speed up trips but still limit KPH to prevent overfarming. 2. Get your point, but you know you can use port sarim/brimhaven boats to get to ardy right? :P Sailing is going to change navigation and we are getting the run energy rework in January. That said a quest to introduce a player to transportation options would be really solid new player content. 3. Support 4. Comparison to Fang isn't fair. Fang has a reduced max hit which is why it has such a high strength bonus. It's also still too powerful for what it is. Melee space is already crowded with displaced BIS options (saeldor, rapier) which need solving. 5. Leave Echo bosses for leagues. There's a lot of ideas from them which could form space for future Raids/Bosses. Sticking them in as niche sidecontent is a wasted opportunity and make opportunities for mechanics on future release more limited. KQ in main game should take Echo KQs mage attack - the echo variant hits when projectile lands. That would greatly improve main game KQ as you could camp range and switch mage when you see the animation making it far less punishing. 6. Support with collection log tiers. Max stack of 5 clues per tier. Funnily enough, the one thing I would add would be Clue Compass as a quest reward from a clue-hunting type quest. It would provide 3 teleports a day to your current clue step and would also show on the map the location of coordinate and hot/cold clues without needing any plugins.
There are plenty of early access teleports/transportation methods that don't involve much running around. Port Sarim has charter ships, and Rimmington has a boat that can take you to either Brimhaven or Ardy, for 30gp... early game access to teles is just too easy. GWD respawn time adjustments will definitely mess with too much. Zammy Spears used to be 15m, and now are only about 5? And you want to shorten the respawn times, causing more of them to come into the game at a faster rate. Basically, you'd be killing any profitability left from the bosses. On top of that, the pet hunts would be easier and faster. DKs respawn time is almost as long as GWD generals, too. KQ is almost 30 seconds. Shortening these times will only make the game worse. The reason getting multiple purples from other raids is a bad idea is because the purple rates are already higher than at Chambers, and they can be done faster most of the time. It seems all your ideas favor tanking profitable gameplay methods. Even as an ironman, most of these ideas make little to no sense.
I have always been against stackable clues myself as I think the leagues way of having hundreds of clues is broken in main game. But the ides of having like 3-5, stackable clues of each tier actually sounds kind of like a reasonable compromise.
Right like when youre doing slayer and get a clue u have t leave and go do it and come back in order to recieve another. You might get 3 or 4 or more from one task and itd just be nice to not have to leave the area and come back.
changing the gwd respawn timer will nuke the prices of the items sadly, its too key to their value and when maxed players kill 100 graardor/hr, low level players will never have a reason to go there for 10 kph while prices are also down bad The sol weapon would be awesome, maybe slight stat alterations? but all-together a really cool weapon. Multiple purples looks kind of weird so unless they revamp the reward rooms for tob and toa I dont think thats gonna happen, would be nice for raids 4 tho! Echo bosses is probably a hard pass for me, theyre cool but I think it'd be much nicer if they added bosses to the main game with those mechanics that arent some private servery looking version of the boss and just make new bosses entirely with the echo boss mechanics. Stackable clues also a hard pass imo, it would just make doing clues not worth it, not rewarding, it wouldnt fit their purpose to break up grinds anymore and overall I think people will just forget clues even exist within like a month or so unless its an early level ironman looking for blessed d hide for gwd
Unlimited run energy please jagex. It doesn't need to be tied to the agility skill to make agility interesting. That is my favorite part about leagues is never worrying about run energy

the clue thing works well too since they wanna add collection log tier rewards, have x amount of clogs allows x amount of stackable clues or whatever

gagex is too worried about reviving castle wars

I wish you could have tried echo hunllef, that boss fight was very fun and had nice changes from cg
i've said for a long time now that when people raid everyone should have their purple chance rolled individually. Because of the way current mechanics work, it is ALWAYS more efficient to raid by yourself because you can't get double purples in teams.
Until the whole squad of main accounts all roll mega rares and have a 10b split

Honestly, I would LOVE if Echo CG was in main game. Harder boss=skip prep phase. Sign me up!
What's the plugin at 9:29 when you hover over ur max cape ?
Happy to hear literally anyone else agree that stackable clues aren't the play lol.

Echo bottomless bucket letsgo
Sunlight spear would be awesome!
I say no to the multi purple
Permanent leag worlds we already have permanent dead man mode worlds

Subbed for Bill Nye vow. I’m counting on you.
Melee zulrah needs to happen
Faster spawn would bring too much supply/gp into the game

They're respawn rate is already halved in league it's like 25 secs
the tob purple thing only applied to HM tob
Cox lots of fun. Heard that before
Bankers note certainly not overpowered and I certainly wouldnt do anything like abuse RC with it please add to game Jagex or I cry... I wish.
You know you just take a boat from Remington to Ardy now lol they already ruined that route
IM GAY
So much of this is just rs3 lol
Wow, this is informative!
Unlimited run energy please jagex. It doesn't need to be tied to the agility skill to make agility interesting. That is my favorite part about leagues is never worrying about run energy
Nah unlimited run is terrible
I just want to be able to prep multiple kills in advance at Duke. Doing the same shit every kill is such a drag and makes the boss utterly boring.
4:18 am i stupid or is this incorrect? I do cox with a friend but we have never both gotten a purple together. yes im on leagues lol
