Nice review! Question: can you use the beltpack while charging via the USB-C cable?

Is it possible to activate the microphone only by pressing the side button on the bodypack?
Normal mode: Mute, click button and talk?

The belt pack mute talk switch button can mute the microphone anyway. But when switching to Talk status, the microphone should be turned down to talk.
The microphone is always muted when it's turned up, whatever the beltpack status

      @@OmaGhomrawi thank you so much.
So always keeping the microphone down I can set that to talk I have to press the button on the bodypack?

TeleOltre no press just keep the microphone down to talk and up to mute.
Actually I use the beltpack mute talk button only when using non Hollyland headsets like your smartphone headset for example

@@OmaGhomrawi Excuse me, in the latter case, when you use the smatphone earphones.
How does communication work? Always on or do you have to press (and hold) the button?
Unfortunately there is no way to try it in Italy and before ordering it I would like to remove this doubt.
I currently use data video intercom and it works great, but I need a wireless intercom. But working in a very noisy events (concerts, etc.) I need the bodypack microphones to be turned off normally and activated only for a real use of the cameramen. Ty

TeleOltre no need to press just talk, its not like talky walky. That’s why it called full duplex intercom. It’s open line

hows this versus eartec ultralite which requires no base station for 4 pieces setup?

    • @OmaGhomrawi
      @OmaGhomrawi  5 років тому +1

I didn't try Eartec UltraLITE Headset yet. I just had a look at it and seems to be interesting.
But the battery life is only 4 hours when the microphone is always on, it could reach in around 6 hours when it's on and off.
However, VidMuze Cinema, LLC Channel says you will lose connection in unopen space, such a forest or something where the transmission reached to about 400 feet / 120 meters

I used Mars t1000 a couple weeks ago in a big wedding event and things went soo smoothly except one of the headset microphone stopped working. I contact the company and trying to solve this. Meanwhile, they advised using a regular smartphone headphone with the beltpack.
