The watering schedule depends on the growing conditions. From every other day on hot clear sky summer days to once or twice a week on colder spring/autumn days. No fertilizer was added regularly. It increases the risk of head split Thank You very much ☺🍀
Hello friend. i am your subscriber after watching your video for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Your method is so precise and to the point. The way you grow your plants your channel is bound to grow...keep watering your channel with good videos....hahahaha...
Hello, Thanks for sharing your growing videos, however I have a few questions? How much sunlight do they need ? How often do you water them ? Do the water need to be PH adjusted? And am I able to grow them indoors?
Hello. Cabbages grow best in full sun, but they will appreciate some shade during hot summer days. The watering frequency increases as they grow. Make sure the soil is moist at all times, especially when the head is forming. No, rainwater is fine 🙂 Well, I don't think growing cabbage indoors would be worth the electricity bill, but I think You could (if You can set up their required growing conditions, especially temperature)
Another beautiful video! How do you prevent white cabbage flies from destroying your cabbage plant? I had to cover my bed with netting and they still managed to slip inside and laying eggs and get infested. They make their appearance as soon as weather gets warm. Thank you again for another great video!
Hello. I grew these under row covers. The ones I grew in open garden had some whiteflies. Neem oil is pretty effective against them. When it comes to cabbage root fly, that's why I use those cabbage collars. They prevent root fly eggs from hatching. Thank You very much, I am happy You like the video :)
Nice cabbage. I grow mine in a polytunnel but this year a whole lof to the hearts have turned mouldy and are covered with a grey white fungus, spoiling the outside of the heart. They aren't particulary spaced too close together but what causes this?
Hello. This is caused by restricted air circulation in the polytunnel. It allows the moisture to be retained on the plants for longer period of time, resulting in development of white mold on the plants. I recommend using row covers for cabbage instead. If it’s an early stage, You have a chance to treat it, but once the disease caused damage to the plants, using fungicide won’t be effective. Thank You very much 😊🍀
May you expound upon the row covers? I just transplanted my cabbage and want them to have the best chance at success. Do you have a photo of the grow bags under the row covers @@Liap?
@@anneciamartin9514 We have them too over here. Garlic extract can help with them and so can neem oil. Also growing more flowers to attract ladybugs to garden. They eat aphids and their larvae are real aphid eaters.
(translator)

@@Liap Thanks for taking the time to reply. That's very helpful advice. I think maybe I also overcrowd the plants in the polytunnel. Have a good day!

I have two “sticks” connected and bent to “U” shape. And a cloth over it. In the romaine lettuce video You can see it. At 4 something minute.
How to water at initial stage for germination ?
Very lightly. Just to keep the soil moist and not soggy.
very good👍👍👍😊😊
Thank You very much ☺🍀
Nice. What is the purpose of the cabbage collar?
It prevents cabbage root fly eggs from hatching. They can can be quite a problem where I live.
Thank You very much ☺
@@Liap okay. For us it's cabbage aphids. They are oppressive here in Southern California. Keep the videos coming!
Yummy 🤤

which fertilizer are you using?
I used fish emulsion based fertilizer here and there between transplanting and head forming. But nothing regular.
Do you reuse the soil from the grow bags???
Hello. Yes I do.
What music did you use?
Серьёзно? 25литров земли на растение? Внешне выглядят, как 12 литров
Да, это гроу-мешки на 25 литров. Корневая система полностью заполнила гроу-мешки. (translator)
@@Liap спасибо, меньший объем земли не будет эффективно работать?
