Have you read Yellow crocus by Laila Ibrahim? I just finished reading it and would recommend it highly....it's part of a series but you can read just this one book and decide not to read the rest if you don't like it ...

Hello Eric🙋♀️ I really love your channel. I have just finished reading 📖 the enchanting novel “Enbury Heath” by Stella Gibbons. Although the characters are fictitious, it is semi-autobiographical novel about the author sharing a home with her brothers in Hampstead Heath. It is also poignant, as it was written 🖋 in 1935, and there are hints of impending doom in novel. Stella Gibbons most famous novel is “Cold Comfort Farm.” I was amazed she had written 15 other novels. Her other work deserves to be more widely read.... Happy reading📚
I tried to read Lies and Weddings. The reviews it seem like great fun. But I read about a third and hadn't found the fun.
