I totally agree with your strategy. Too many resellers worry solely about price. They don’t realize there are many people who money is not an issue for and pricing too low comes off as Cheap. Wealthy People appreciate paying well for Quality & Unique items.
Great, great, great teaching video. I’ve used your 3x method for a couple years with success. It eliminates needing to know the “exact” value while providing implied value to buyers when they negotiate the price down. Do your homework and you’ll have more money at the end of the day. Guess prices too low and you’ll miss out on the hidden home runs!
My sales have slowed again, sales seem to come in slow then all hell lets loose with so many sales. I just take it as it comes these days, with any of my sales. I treat every buyer the same, they are all as inportant to me, if they spend small or big, they are all the same to me. I pack everything as best as I can & if any issues, I try to sort things out so the buyers always goes away happy. But just let anyone scam me, and they will feel the force of eBay coming down on them everytime. Great video again, Don. Charles in the UK
Another great informational video. I admit, I need to check Terra Peak more often. I want a quick turnover on my goods because I have had too many bad buys when I first began this career, and was burned by losing money and time because of it. My eye, and my patience, are getting better. I really appreciate your videos to help all of us utilize the tools available to succeed. Thank you!
Hey Don, have you seen the guy making vids this last week about bubble wrap?! He’s buying huge rolls from all over the place 200 -1000ft boxes of bubble and unrolling them and measuring them! He has some pretty wild findings so far being short anywhere from 15-30%!!!
When I'm out hunting, I look for the Mistakes and this one was a beaut. I can honestly say it's one I might have made too, since 70s toys aren't my strong suit. (but I'd have started them at $99.99 and let it ride. ) That said, sometimes it's worth letting something go cheap just to get it gone, or you only paid $5 at a yard sale and figure you made yours, so someone else can make theirs.
I’m wishing you all the best in your new home. I do admit that the echo in the background makes me miss the close up and intimate videos you used to do at your desk … but I’ll still be watching cause I learn so much👍
I have some items that are unusual and rare. Some I have had sitting for 2 years but have had watchers and lowball offers. How long do you wait to lower your price. Thanks for sharing your knowledge
I make an offer on a buy it now item (when offer is available) even when the price is good. If it does not get auto accepted I will buy it for buy it now price. Sometimes things go quick.
Did you have any issues with eBay relisting your sold items and having to manually go in and end them. I called them and they said it’s a bug on their end. Major headache. I just sold something I don’t have anymore so I have to cancel it. They told me I won’t get a ding because it is their fault. We’ll see
The 'mistake' wasn't clear to me and I didn't hear a 'what to do instead of' whatever the mistake is. I do struggle with pricing and what might help is, to hear what you listed it for and what it actually sold for. Thank you, I know you mean well.
Everyone races to the bottom and destroys the market. If Everyone held strong on market price we would all see more money in our accounts. Is what it is I suppose.

Please give me the link to terrapink? When you look up the value of an item?

I loved the video, always learning from you so many thanks for the work you do.
I love how supportive in your wife’s collection
I love how new things appear on your display shelves every episode lol
My sales are up 40% last month, 50% YOY. I think having volume and constantly active on the site is a hugely beneficial.
Thank you Don. You have given us this message before and thanks to you I have sold some of my items way higher than I would ever have expected to.
Yet again a wonderful and actionable video on pricing.

Hi Don, thanks for the great content. I learn something useful every time and it’s never boring. You’re doing good work and we appreciate ya.

thanks..now i have the romper room song stuck in my head 😡
Riches in niches. I hear this all the time from successful business owners. No matter which part of the world you live in. This rings true.
Sometimes especially with sales being down people need cash now and take the sacrifice.I have had to do it. Always Great Content Thank you ...
Good to know. but how does one find the true value of an obscure item?
Once again great food for thought! Thanks.
I learned this lesson the hard-way, and I wish I had seen this video beforehand.
What a steal! CONGRATULATIONS
I mean, what is the source to give me some idea about pricing my stuff
Where can you find the price somehow close to the item you have
None of my items have sold lately. Zilch, zero, nada! Im very discouraged.
I make an offer on a buy it now item (when offer is available) even when the price is good. If it does not get auto accepted I will buy it for buy it now price. Sometimes things go quick.
The only thing I know about Weebles is that they wobble......but they don't fall down.
You never miss 🔥
Yes, i did enjoy the video!
What is your opinion about Worthpoint? Thanks!
there's a current comp for that same rare proper room May 17th 2023. it only went for $65. oh my and it was new sealed
That's the one we bought. The $65 was the starting price the seller put on it.
Totally agree
I got a message this week Ebay is going to give seller 2 years of solds again instead of 90 days.
you're not gonna get the price if you didn't ask for price
No point leaving money on the table.
Don, my man !

I saw you video related to this I only have a couple thousand items so I know it is a major headache for you.

If you watch the whole video it is clearly stated. We did not though make the mistake the seller of the toy WE bought did.
Everyone races to the bottom and destroys the market. If Everyone held strong on market price we would all see more money in our accounts. Is what it is I suppose.
Pc . Is great when u get a good price….
Are you 100% sure the sealed set you bought is not fake?
100% as there are no reproductions of any of the toy line.
