Not to be rude but I feel like more korean fans talk about how ugly she is rather than the international fans such as myself because the fans said the same thing about snsd Hyoyeon but she actually gets more love and shine in Paris. Not all korean fans but I feel like most Korean fans just look at the appearance in a different way because to me Umji is really pretty so I don't see why she gets so much hate. I know there's little international fans who hate to but I think the majority are korean fans. knetz have this type of negativity when it comes to Umji's visual. Since she doesnt fit in the 'normal' kpop girl group beauty standard, she gets called ugly...a lot. There was a time during rough promotions that she hid her face and looked so down. But i guess that all changed when they promoted overseas. SHe's the most loved member in Canada...like she has the loudest cheer of them all. Then Kcon LA happened and people were just charmed. She has the loudest cheer again. Add those to the fact that she speaks english.

Not to be rude but I feel like more korean fans talk about how ugly she is rather than the international fans such as myself because the fans said the same thing about snsd Hyoyeon but she actually gets more love and shine in Paris. Not all korean fans but I feel like most Korean fans just look at the appearance in a different way because to me Umji is really pretty so I don't see why she gets so much hate. I know there's little international fans who hate to but I think the majority are korean fans. Umji has some self esteem just as myself, she's way prettier than I am that's for sure so I know I wouldn't last a week as a idol without plastic surgery. Love you Umji!
knetz have this type of negativity when it comes to Umji's visual. Since she doesnt fit in the 'normal' kpop girl group beauty standard, she gets called ugly...a lot. There was a time during rough promotions that she hid her face and looked so down. But i guess that all changed when they promoted overseas.
SHe's the most loved member in Canada...like she has the loudest cheer of them all. Then Kcon LA happened and people were just charmed. She has the loudest cheer again. Add those to the fact that she speaks english.
