Honestly the chapter was actually pretty good and even though Lucifero was defeated he might still be in the underworld since he was half manifested. Also if he died Aldramalech is still right there and he gave a creepy smile at Asta and the fourth Zogratias sibling is still out there along with the other devils in the underworld so yeah we just need to see what happens in the next couple od chapters
I’ve been a Black Clover fan since I first started it. Never understood why it’s hated on so much but nobody ever dies and the villains that have potential get side swapped so easy
Gadjah the only one that I think his death shouldn't have been reversed. Even though some may have not died they may suffer consequences. We don't know yet what has happened to Yami's body
Theres Seinen out there that kill characters left and right and nobody remembers them or cares. But lots care when One Piece killed Ace 300chp in. Unless you are sadistic, has issues or have a dead obsession, doesnt it really matter. What matters is if it happens it means anything.
@@SouthwindPOR all of the top shonen series have had atleast 1 major character death in them, as for the main reason BC gets alot of hate is bc of how similar it is to fairy tail so alot of fairy tail haters also hate as a result or they like FT but hate BC as they see it as a fairy tail rip off
This chapter was awesome as always and i still don’t get it how people say this was a bad chapter and there are some people saying that Asta is too strong when Natch told us he will make him the ultimate warrior
Because Lucifero was just a boring villain in comparison to other villains black Clover has introduced. He was intimidating in power, but he didn't use it in an interesting way before being defeated.
@@2mellow35 If he was, he would flatten the entire continent in a second w/o any need of a fight. The End. Pretty obvious it wasnt the time and space to do that final battle. Why anyone expect a lesser and nerfed Luci would do anything dramatic right now baffles me. "I'm the strongest in the universe!" "You were made to die by my hand!" Boring Frieza as he was beat in every transformation he did until his 'final form' in namek. Wht didnt Frieza blow up the planet from the get go lol
@@SouthwindPOR I'm just explaining why people are mad. I'm personally unaffected. I do believe he was boring too. Being at a lesser percentage of power doesn't justify him barely doing anything other than punch, swat, kick, and flex his gravity magic. The chapters were carried by everything that was trying to oppose him.
Issue isn’t that Lucifero lost. It’s how he lost to only Asta and Liebe while having next to no impact on the arc besides being the king of devils. This would be fine however none of the villains have been able to achieve any substantial feats this arc in terms of impacting the main cast. Deaths were overturned (Gaja) and power ups while cool were thrown about this arc making some of our main cast stronger than the captains they were aspiring to match up to. The question now is, if Asta has proven himself to be the strongest then what is the point of rooting for him. He surpassed all the captains in one arc and he surpassed them by a lot to the point where he killed Lucifero in 5 seconds who destroyed all the captains at once (including Asta himself before his power up) Yes, there may be strong villains down the line but the runaway power creep means that if they’re anything close to Lucifero then 95% of the cast is automatically irrelevant and if they aren’t then it begs the question: if every character could train to be strong enough to fight Lucifero then why should we consider him a threat that can destroy the world. Even if Lucifero comes back later. We now know that Tabata COULD just use the same formula to justify characters suddenly gaining enough power to beat 100% Lucifero because “surpass your limits”. As my all time favourite manga, this hurts to see as the damage to the consistency and quality of Black clover seems irreversible even if Tabata is able to turn around Lucifero’s disappointing debut as that was only the icing on the cake for all the issues this arc has presented. This is why the megicula fight was my favourite fight this arc as it resembled the Zagred fight from last arc with its emphasis on EFFECTIVE teamwork (not just throwing captains at a villain to have them lose). I’ll even overlook Gaia’s moment as it served for important character development between him and Loropechika. I guarantee that if and when Asta struggles in fights in the next arc, people are going to say that Asta is nerfed or that “new villain” is busted only to have them lose spectacularly soon after by Asta, who by the way just so happens to be the only one strong enough to finish the villain off. I remember when Asta was a clutch factor when everyone had done the heavy lifting and not the means of single-handedly overpowering the villain.
The problem isn't that he isn't at full power or he wasn't strong the problem is he accomplished nothing and compared to every other villain even Dante she had no impact he was not an interesting character whatsoever he was an extremely generic villain and they didn't do anything with him so even if he does come back no one is going to care not to mention all he did while fighting was punch and kick and all that stuff he didn't even use gravity magic like Dante did at least Dante made it look interesting growing black holes and singularities and stuff like that making stone swords every other villain has been more interesting in him and has had more impact he'll just earlier we had mugila or however you say her name and then Beelzebub/zenon who was a parallel of Yuno Lucifer had no emotional weight the only thing he did was kill somebody important in a backstory and that's about it
I agree. If you stop and think, it’s actually crazy that Asta in his perfect devil union is stronger than 50% lucifero. Like Lucifero is practically the most powerful thing in existence. I guess a good thing to come out of this is that politics in black clover should become more interesting. There is no good reason as to why Asta should not be the wizard king other than age, and the spade kingdom wants Yuno to be their king.
@@NeohXO plus lucifero was knocked out and Asta might had a plan for him or his grimoire might sealed lucifero. And they were in position where other country can attack them..
everyone is just mad cause they thought Asta would die like Julies said but this arc was just to help asta perfect is union mode. Asta will die at his most powerful moment which is not here yet.
What if when lucifero tries to take over liebe body back then and licita intervene and start to drain his mana, what if licita takes or drains more than mana from lucifero without him knowing even to this day, I believe that licita takes the power of authority from lucifero because there is no way a king of all devil can order a devil on that devil disobey or ignore a order from the king
Honeslty i want asta to be "killed" by andramalech, so he could have a rematch with lucifero but this time. Since he lost haft of his strength he probably for the first time "train", he will probably vent out his frustration on the other devils. Probably his posession ability. In conclusion he lost haft of strength, demoted, and train back, maybe have his own power up.

My man shilling with the best of em'. This is literally what killed Fairy Tail and Seven Deadly Sins (to an extent), but people desperately are looking the other way for Black Clover. Not only has this arc failed in having stakes, but the villains have failed miserably. Nobody will care about Lucifero because we already know he'll lose and he was embarrassed. He's no longer a threat. There has never been any stakes or threats from ANY villain due to "friendship" and "breaking my limits". This was the last straw for most people. An entire arc wasted because Tabata or his editor are too scare to allow the villains to breathe. Imagine Aizen being defeated by Ichigo in the Soul Society arc and running off saying, "I'll get you next time!" Now look at what we actually got with him... an iconic moment. None of Black Clover's villains have iconic moments. They have embarrassing ones.
