Woody really was the definition of the boxer "friendly and playful but doesn't know his strength and size" trait. Not aggresive, just playful but too overwhelming. This was a really good episode, as oen of my relatives got a Boxer puppy and wants to train him before he gets bigger Thanks Graeme!
I felt so sorry for Woody. I think it all went downhill the second they expected him to be exactly like the last dog. If people can't appreciate that dogs are living, sentient beings with their own minds and personalities, and not robots, then they shouldn't be allowed to own one.
I got something competently else from that story, that they had a calm boxer before (not common 😂) and they decided to get another one cause they loved the one before and also felt that’s the dog they can handle as per experience. now that they realised they couldn’t, they reached out for help.
Grief at the loss of one pet can really mess up the relationship with another. I’ve met grown men who cried that their new pup isn’t a patch on the beloved dog they lost.
Can't believe people are not capable of learning how to properly walk a dog!! This guy is a very good dog trainer!! I'm enjoying watching this show!!❤❤❤😂
Woody is intelligent and mean no harm. I wouldn't call it behaving badly as he wasn't set limits from young. It takes time, understanding and a lot of patience to teach a puppy. Do it consistently and one will be rewarded. The dog soon learns what is expected of him. Your video is an eye opener. Thank you. Not everyone can afford the expensive training school and videos like this is a great help.
I wish Graham was in the U.S! My 11 year old rescue, Lacey, a dog with a double coat, won't let me brush or bathe her. My late husband and I worked her through most of her problems and even worked through her grooming issues at first, then something set her off and she was no longer that cooperative dog. Worked through it again, and again, over the years, but it seems it's here to stay. Drugs only made it worse. These days I have to wear leather welding sleeves to groom her, and can only do so briefly, never to the degree she needs. I wish I could bathe and brush her again. I'm a senior on a fixed income and have been sending her to a groomer to help me keep her coat up. They have to have two people to handle her. This is expensive and so stressful, for both of us. She's such a great dog in just about all other ways. She does jump on people sometimes. My husband liked it when she did that, so I couldn't step in and correct it. She loves people, especially kids, who can do no wrong in her eyes. She won't walk with anyone but me, but I can't walk anymore. I hired a dog walker, but she couldn't get her to leave the property. She generally won't leave without me, I'm her security blanket. Even at the vets, they can't walk her in, she won't go without me and I'm on crutches. She used to love the vet, but these days it's a struggle there too.
That dog walking effort was pathetic - sorry - how ridiculous to walk your dog like that ! Poor Woody - he needs boundaries - training - stimulation - he is being scape goated! He is a beautiful dog
No boundaries an no training from the off. Shouldnt of got the same breed coz expectations will always be high.ans wots with the walkies high pitch voice......crazy
Woody needs a prong collar until he is more under control! They work extremely fast in conjunction with discipline. Once he is controllable he will be fine and an enjoyable family member. The owner is at fault here not the dog!
Well…they put children on meds for hyperactivity, that dumb dog would benefit more. Personally, I’ve NEVER seen kids act like this. That dog has no boundaries. It is all over everyone. 😑

But it turned out to be all right, didn't it? That's the idea.

I know a man who waited 20yrs to get another and now he can't stop smiling and laughing at the antics of his little french bull dog.

Woodys bad behaviour is down too them not setting boundries & allowing him to do whatever he wants feel more sorry 4 woody then the family
Woody is a sweet smart dog. I hope he will get more attention and playtime with the family now.
Ouch! Poor Graeme, that was a very excited greeting!
Poor dog , he is just being a boxer 😮
The idea was to make him a BETTER Boxer.

I'm sure his owner progressed greatly; she was so impressed by his improvements and that's reward enough for most humans to keep leveling up.
Well done Woody ❤ xx
I had a 'Woody', also a boxer (crossed with a staffy!). I read Graeme's book and trained my dog!
Their reaction doesn’t match his behaviour. He’s undisciplined but a happy dog.
This lady is so pleasant and the boy is beautiful and smart. 💐
Woody is a naughty energetic teenager, thankfully the family learnt how to handle him.
Oh my...
Nice work woddy
All the doorhandles are upside down
😂
Woodys not dumb..... his family on the otherhand....
Woody just needs dog training and send him to dog bootcamp
Clever brother 09

You need a prong collar
I second that notion…
Some people shouldn't be allowed to have dogs

dog is not the dumb one here. he picked up training immediately. humans on the other hand...
Boxers are wonderful, resourceful and always make you laugh, even if they are well-trained🩷❤️❤️
