Nice video and insights, but based on the video, can tell the vibe among the team is too chill alr... They look like they are in their comfort zone. To improve and get results on the pitch, all of them have to be feel uncomfortable with training....
we have athletes competing at the highest level, winning medals, hell being a world champ in powerlifting and the government still isnt funding the sport of powerlifting, all the money going to sports that havent been winning for goddamn years and still funding them
@@splashmoby very good for them i am happy for them, and their elite at what they do. But i dont think it matters who watches the sport to get the government to support that sport. Its what the athletes has done and achieved to be recognised in singapore let alone the whole world. There should be some sort of recognition and funding at least from the government just to respect what the athletes in the sport has done.
@cebuanolifter it matters who watches the sport, how else you gonna get funding if there are no advertisers? Let's not pretend like it's not business at the end of the day. Our football receives around $20 million in funding annually. To put it into perspective around $2 billion were spent in all sports last year alone. So let's not act like we are splurging the bulk of the money on our football.
@@splashmoby agreed throughout, but dont you think if its business at the end of the day, dont you want something in return when you invest so much money into the sport ? Maybe a certain level of recognition of singapore through the athlete who won smtg in that sport ? some sort of a return be it intangible or not...
Jacob Mahler is Hariss's heir hahah, plays at the same position(s), very similar personality traits. Shah Shahiran better as a more Box to Box Midfielder type player given his aggression and pace.
Great to see the Lions in action, seems like preparation is going well! Keep pushing!!!
Good to see Gavin as the assistant coach.
Go there santai or training camp? like holiday only
Need to change the whole backroom staffs .. SG wont go to asian cup like this.
The team mood and attitude is too chill. They really need to get more serious if not nothing will ever change

Bear in mind that you are only seeing glimpses of their training, not even 5 min.
We need to send more players out for overseas to train their mentality.
Send to Shaolin? Come back they can play Shaolin Soccer.

Kelong
Team sports vs individual sports. And honestly who watches powerlifting.

Singapore will be in a lot of trouble when Hariss retires. better get someone to replace him, shah shahiran might be the closest currently.
Jacob mahler can replace him

jacob & haryhs over shah shahiran
I believe you're referring to his leadership. He needs to be replaced sooner rather than later. Both he and Anu just don't have the legs anymore.
The useless Harris better retire asap!
😴 🥱
Waste money sending them for Japan training getting trashed and shamed!
send them there for experience u say waste money. Don't send them there how to improve
Full of crap
Singapore football sucks
still better than u
