It’s really up to personal preference. The sound and the size are pretty much the only things that are different. I prefer tenors since their sound is not as bright as a soprano or concert but some people might like that sound more so it really depends. I’d say if you can try some ukulele out at a music shop or something that would be best.
I’m working on reworking the existing tabs and then putting them on a website where they can be properly licensed to distribute. It will take some time but a lot of the tabs will end up looking a lot better and with less mistakes, especially the older tabs.
