Lets talk about how PlayStation betrayed the PSVR2 community pulling move similar move to but yet somehow in a worse way the PS Vita treatment.

It was overpriced.
I agree it is and forgot to put that in the video but that is dictated by Sony as to what the MSRP usually is unless I'm wrong about that
Disagree. Overpriced means the price is too high for what the tech gives you. There is nothing wrong with the tech. Its far better than anything else even remotely close to its price range. Even if you factor in the price of a PS5. The issue is SONY itself and the lack of big hitters (games).
@@chamamemestre Hmmm the main aspect is there is little to no software due to lack of first party support and as for if it's priced well or not is what is offered on the hardware.
But no doubt PS is to blame because I will not forget what happened to the Vita
@@jgamindood5769 I currently have over 70 top quality games on the hard drive, with another 16 on my wishlist announced to be released. There's plenty of games for the system
Just bought 8tb m.2 for my ps5 to hold and expand on the brilliant library of vr2 games I have. Happy days
Didn't know PS5 could support 8TB SSD. Might look at upgrading now
PSVR2 is alive and well. Every GT7 guy I know with wheels are getting rid of their TV and only racing using PSVR2
Don't get me wrong GT7 on PSVR2 is a religious experience but 1 exceptional games isn't enough to sell an expensive headset.
There needs to be more from Sony
@@jgamindood5769 Not really, Sony put out a great product. They are even making it compatible with PC. This is in the hands of third party and independent studios.

At the end of the day, the PSVR2 is just a peripheral made to enhance the gaming experience. Sony's bread and butter remains the PlayStation platform.
The minute they stated no back compat with PSVR, i was out, even if they had patched at the ps5 level the ability to just use the psv2 as hmd and joypad suppot for psvr games like Skyrim and Borderlands 2 vr, i would have upgraded, but they did not, and now they are paying the price.
Just wondering if you use your psvr on PS5 with the free camera adapter. Instant boost for most of the games with an excellent catalogue. I have both psvr and PSVR2 connected to mine, but must say there's a large quality jump to the later headset for the majority of games, from around 160 pvvr titles to over 60 PSVR2 games.
@@Gamecat_Photonutter Yeah on the pS5 with the camera adaptor, but my main go to games today are still SkyrimVR and Borderlands 2 VR....those two are what keep me on the PSVR, and i do not even need the vr controlers, as i play these seated with the joypad in VR.........so if sony just made PSVR games run on the PSVR HMD without the hand tracking i would buy a PSVR just to keep playing these 2 games.....both just do not get old, Skyrim i also have on the PCVR with the vive and CV1, but i much prefer the PSVR today.
@@bob23301 love wip3out and squadrons on the psvr, they don't use the moves either. Loads. Of seated games for the PSVR2 aswelll, GT7, Kayak, even Madison. I play in a 5' space mainly seated too
@@Gamecat_Photonutter Oh is forgot about those 2.........yes there are a ton of great PSVR games that get a boost from the PS5 and can be played with the joypad. :)
SONY Ponies should get PCVR or a Quest 3.
The biggest concern is why release it if they aren't going to support the device. That should be the main question
Calling me a petty insult like “pony” because I’m a fan of a specific brand of gaming console just goes to show how insecure you are as a person. But nah this “pony” won’t be buying any of them not even psvr2. I’m fine with playing my games on my tv I don’t need a 6000$ gaming rig to get higher fps and I have no interest whatsoever in gaming with a tv screen strapped to my face 😂

Yeah but next month it will be compatible and work on pc.
The video's point is how Playstation failed the VR headset, giving it to others to cover their lack of support is a worse look.
Stop crying it's by no means dead.
Here's to hoping that's the case that some Indies and third party studios might be making some more games for it
@@jgamindood5769 2 Sony studio games are better then none. One article from a guy who does not like or even plays in VR is meaningless. Lots of people out there a hoping for it to fail. Stop reading into their nonsense
