Mattie's speech brought tears to my eyes
A clean singer who can actually sing? No way.
That speech just sent chills down my spine. You don't have to be a christian to know his hart is in the right place and his message is beautiful!

Was there, such an amazing night...every band did amazing. For Today brought the whole place down though. I could feel my shorts vibrating from everyone jumping, screaming, and the bass drops. Such an amazing time with my church.

I was there! I actually started the main local support band, AMOR, and was an active member for the first few years of that band....still fill in on bass from time to time when they need it. The underground is just a terrible venue for filming. I was pushing so hard for them to move that show upstairs, specifically so that i could film, but they kept it downstairs :( hopefully next time Northlane rolls through, it'll be at a camera-friendly venue like the upstairs Nile!

He usually use a mixture between the cleans and the false chords and thats awesome! Because the normal types of screamings in bands like for today have a mixture with cleans and frys. This s why matt its like a screaming boss.
not sure about the slayer shirt of the drummer though.....
even religious people realise that slayer is proably one of the best bands of all time

Any prayer warriors like myself out there? If there are and they're reading this especially if you're already in a band my name is Michael Pritchett and I'm doing my best right now to get part-time employment so I can finally complete my band Heart Of Flesh and hopefully get a chance to tour with For Today, Sleeping Giant, The Great Commission, Impending Doom, and every other band I enjoy could you please pray that God opens the right door for me and leads me to the right men and women because I want some women in my band too that they will come in His timing and also for my parents to be more accepting of people with tattoos and piercings and then for them to let me hold auditions at my house once they meet them?

Unfortunately, it was not. The tour came through AZ on a Monday night, which contributed to the smaller turnout. It was actually more packed for the bands that played earlier. Which makes sense, since at least half the audience had curfew. But I would say there were still a couple hundred people during For Today. Only completely sold out sets on my channel are Emmure and Parkway Drive. I think this venue (The Nile) maxes out at a little over 1,000 people.
Did they seriously only play 3 songs off Fight the Silence?
The CD was released on the east coast literally while they were playing this set. That in mind, not many people were going to know the new songs that well. As a touring band, you want to play the ones the general fan base knows the best in order to get the best possible crowd response. So strategically, it's smartest to wait until your new CD has been out for a few months before you start adding more of those new songs to your setlist...gives the fans time to learn and love the new material.
That dude was such a nazi about people being on the stage. I hate venues like that.
I hate bands that are so fucking caught up with these fairytales of god. He said he didn't want to shove it down their throats but he did, preaching like in church. And also sure he seems to have had a rough life but really that speech was shitty as fuck. They make really good music though.
