Bulog Dos was our first stop and we could wade and snorkel in the shallow reef, climb up the the little rocky hill for a gorgeous view of the neighbouring islands and waters, or simply walk along the stretch of sandbar that connects the island of Cauayan to the private island of Bulalacao.
As lunch time was already approaching, we headed to Banana Island for a family-style buffet in a cabana and it felt like it was just our tour group on the entire island. The sand here was powdery soft and I couldn't help floating away in the calm waters of the shore.
Sad to leave, but happy to also make it to our final spot: Malcapuya Island. Here we had more time to relax on the long stretch of crisp bright sand beach, but the hero was snorkeling the house reef. We followed the boat out to where they would feed some of the fish and got to experience schools colourful fish swarm all around us! The water was incredibly clear and we just enjoyed checking out the various corals here before ending our day.

So there are essentially only 2 tour OPERATORS in Coron (sorry we forgot the names) and every tour AGENCY uses one of the 2. Pretty much no matter where or how you book the tour, you're going to get an identical experience. To be honest, who you get as the crew matters way more! What is that you're carrying around 8:03? The snorkelling is looking quite good on the last one with very clear water. Very little pollution.
That is an underwater dome for our GoPro! It helps create some really unique photos. We were happily surprised by the water conditions! 🥰
Which one did you like better - Coron or el nido?
That is such a tough question! Personally, we liked the landscapes of Coron more while El Nido as a town was more exciting with better food/atmosphere!

@@theTanjuaquios you’ll be able to do a tour in each place so to be honest if you just wanted to see the main sights, it’s enough!
