Tell me, as a light user, have you noticed these defects? - Some light attacks cause knockback in all directions, ending up getting in the way as it scatters the NPCs. - I activated the flying ability, but it bounced off the ground or a tree and went in the opposite direction of where I wanted to go. - There are two skills that make me Vulnerable, the first one where he stands in the air throwing light and that kick, because of that I already died to the Boss. - The last skill released is bad against Boss, he ends up escaping the attack zone. And the second skill does very little damage if the target is far away, so only up close.
I recommend when you are in the 1st sea, use light, than when you reach the 2nd sea, get to at least 1200 and eat the fruit you want, but I recommend either Magma or Buddha, than when you are in the 1500+ like, almost 3rd sea, you can stop the grind for now, eat something better, dough or dragon would be REALLY good, and you try to get your mastery up (awaken your fruit too), when you reach at least a good amount mastery, you have probably enough to go to the 3rd sea and from there, eat any fruit you want if you wanna change your fruit, and than just grind, pvp, go back to 2nd sea or 1st to help out friends.

I feel like Magma is best for like crowd control and basically just “enemies in that direction? Ok removing that direction.” And light would be better for overall pvp. Maybe not damage, but if you’re trying to easily hit someone then yeah
I honestly think that light is better for pvp. Light speed destroyer is free damage if you tap on them. And hand of the emperor is a good stun. For magma you really only have damage. Beast ride is good for running away by tapping on the person you are pvp. And volcanic assault is also good for combos. But light has a higher combo potential than magma.

Magma better light is an amazing fruit but not that good in 3rd sea magma is better cause it’s one of the most powerful grinding fruits in blox fruits light is is better for grinding but magma the damage is insane especially when you awaken it it’s literally a god fruit for pvp trust me when you awaken magma your gonna change your mind
