Tzuyu is not the type of person who cried publicly when she cries in front of many people you know there is a deeper meaning on it.. I hope it's tears of joy because you all did a great job Baby Tzu ..

2:55 From the very beginning, you can see Jihyo noticing various members mood changing, and after Tzuyu (normally composed) posture cracks and has to comfort her, this is the exact moment where she seems to be inundated with emotions herself; so much so, she kinda ask for sort of help in a joking matter. Jeongyeon realizes that, and gives her a push. The way Jihyo tuck it all together and mentally strengthen herself in a second is so endearing and admirable. It's just not about a cactus.

Cactus is Baby Tzu’s fave, also it was written by God Jihyo. Everytime other members see their Baby Tzu crying they give so much care to their maknae. Even Minari and Shasha is a bit worried seeing Baby Tzu crying. My heart also breaks every time i see her cry since we knew that she rarely cries on stage if she cries that means she can’t hold it anymore. 🥺❤️

Guess all the girls are very happy for the success of their tour and thru this song, they reflect on everything they had and all the hard work is now paying off. They've been through so much as an individual and mostly as a group. They are just so grateful that Onces are giving back all the love they poured in all of their hard works. Cactus is one of my favorites and I too get so emotional every time I hear it. It's a song about almost being hopeless and you have no one to turn to. So you called for help and reached out and you're willing to wait for that person to save you.

@@trynagirl685 The audience and TWICE were laughing at the beginning of the song because Jeongyeon stood and raised her hand to be seen due to the smoke blocking the view. No one would ever be disrespectful to TWICE at their concert. It just wouldn't be tolerated.

Jihyo took inspiration from her dead pet cactus, Ang, when writing this song. She wanted to convey an important message through "Cactus" as the song was sung in the perspective of a bullying victim. The message of the song relates very much with today's generation, who is often subject of bullying, either physical, verbal, or cyberbullying.
That's why Jihyo and Tzuyu cried in this performance; they relate to the message of the song.
Remember, when listening to a song, the meaning of the song is the most important thing you should dig deeper into. Never have I listened to a song with a message as deep as "Cactus".

This song is not only for the cactus. Its about them as well. As if they are asking help from us. They are asking us to see the sadness behind their smiles and bright appearance. They are scared that with time people will stop loving them and not care about them. They are scared people will find them boring as time goes. They are confused of what to do so that we never stop loving them. I've been following TWICE from the beginning. At one of their early concerts Nayeon started crying and said she worries that they will lose their fans love some day and that she did not think they were at all worthy of all the love that they were receiving. So many times during the early years they mentioned that they needed to work harder to better deserve the love of their fans. I think this pressure weighed heavily on them and contributed to psychological troubles most evidenced with Mina and Jeongyeon. Jihyo gave Mina the lyrics "I'll be fine" for a reason.

Cactus is always special. Their ear pieces are probably working the less, so they sort of can absorb and soak on the ambience of the concert, and be more reflexive on being there, sharing a moment with the fans. The song is just so melancholic and the lyric just remind you of those times when hardships just seem so overwhelming, that having someone there, just seem like the only bright spot in life. Plus, seeing Jihyo faintly smiling and profoundly emotional, and yet still manage to hit that last high note (with the support of all the team)...
