Awesome work Guilty, still remember the first time I picked these up on my very first run on NG04. As soon as I heard the noise they made I knew this game was going to be special.
Thank you for showing some respect fot the most underrated weapon of the NG series, it may be a weapon with low damage, but it reaches i´ts true potential when you get it in the starting arsenal while playing in higher difficulties, I admire your research, editing and rendering for this videos, even if the NG fandom is very niche and small , still a part of it tries to reach the in depth mechanics of the game (including de math behind the combat), i´ll never get tired of being grateful for this specific videos you drop from time to time, excellent work bro, now is time for you to touch some grass xD, blessings.
It's so cool seeing actual numbers for these armlets and attacks instead of pure speculation after playing the game for 18 years, the dedication is really impressive
Hey there! I just found your channel, looking up old NG stuff recently. I absolutely love your "By the numbers" playlist. May I ask, what system is this on? It's so sharp and clear. Not what I remember, playing NG-blk on my old Original xbox. ..and I assume, this is just normal NG-Blk? I ask because all the other version confuse me. Sigma and all this and that. On the note of sharpness, I do do recall beginning on a CRT (lol) in the beginning, and then finally "upgrading to the 5-cord cable at some point. (which did a little improvment, but not much) To be able to play this game once again, at this level of detail. My hearts desire. I would REALLY love to get back into this game, as for me - this game was my everything.
Well you picked a great place to start-the Nunchaku video is as close to the beginning as you can get. All this is recorded from xemu, the Xbox emulator, and I use Cheat Engine to “neutralize” the enemies so I can demonstrate the techniques and get accurate analysis. The emulator has stabilized and improved a lot in the last couple years-this is an iso of regular Black and I can run it at 6x to 8x internal resolution with practically no problem, assuming I have the correct GPU settings checked or unchecked. You’ll find in some videos of mine I’ve modded Black’s data files; there’s an entire catalogue of videos surrounding those efforts.

Love this weapon. If they ever make a new NG game I hope they include a non-bladed nunchuck weapon.
The running Y of the nunchucks is the same as the dragon sword's running Y?
Yes, because it’s a physical-based attack separate from the equipped weapon.
