I’ve been trying to understand holy pally for a bit now and I’m still confused. My main spec is prot pally, I’m typically the main tank but i have an OS hpally spec too. How do you get the most out of your holy radiance and light of dawn, because every time I use them my teammates are too far away or move out of my range for them to have any significant use.
Both spells are definitely strongest when people are stacked, if you have 3 or more people close enough then radiance is worth using if a lot of dmg is coming out and same with LoD, if there aren’t 3 ore more stacked I’ll usually opt for WoG since I also play with talent that gives a chance for WoG not to consume and holy power. Sometimes I’ll spam radiance to get mastery shields up but that’s super situational like I did here at the beginning
@@Adrytl what I’ve been doing is adapting my healing style based on my party comp. Like if we’re primarily ranged i’d plant myself as close to as many ranged people as i can and use holy radiance centered on me and when i have enough holy power i’d take a step back and point my dawn of light at as many people as i can trying to capture the tank in the beam. And for a melee heavy comp i get into melee combat and holy radiance on myself again point my beam mostly at the tank but try to capture the ranged in the beam too. Not sure if that’s a good strat but it seems to be working well
Whew! So sketchy! But dead is dead 👍 Next time you may just want to leave Slate Dragon down and just kill Halfus, as it doesn't really provide a benefit that late into the fight, but does take up a ton of DPS and healing.

I agree at least now we all have better gear/knowledge of fights so this fight is a breeze now haha
what do you use so you can cast heal on players while also attacking the boss?
I use mouseover macros for all my healing spells so they cast on whatever my cursor is on whether a frame or a mob
What is turning you into a bear?
iMorph most likely. 3rd party program that changes the players perspective of the character only.
Potion called ‘potion of illusion’
