- It's been a long time in the works to get this video finished and uploaded. It's not that it took me this long to edit it, it's just that this summer has had its own challenges and my focus has been elsewhere. I'm still trying to shake this creative block, so hopefully the next video will have me amped back up!
But, please enjoy our first ride of the season, which was back in early June. We joined the Eastman ATV group to check out the Whitemouth River trails. I've personally missed this ride every year since becoming a member, so it was fantastic to finally check them out. It was great to relive the ride through the editing process and I honestly can't wait to go back.
Enjoy the ride, enjoy the scenery... and don't forget to leave me a comment!
Hey buddy! Another great video you got together! Thanks for capturing our experience.
That was a really scenic ride! Good thing you reminded it to me. We have to get back to that trail
Also I really like how you got together the drone footage! Turn out really beautiful especially at the lunch time! 🙌👍🏻
Thanks buddy, couldn't have done it without you. 👍
OOOHHHHH BBOOOYYYYY, something to watch tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nothing TOO crazy, but entertaining anyway, lol.
Love those trails, nice video
Thanks, John! I can't wait to explore them some more.
Great video thanks
Thanks! I just uploaded a winter ride for this trail. Feel free to check it out.
Right on, cool intro.
Yup we like taking the scenic route as well.
Looked like a nice group of folks riding with you. The old home stead chimney was cool. Drone footage at lunch was cool.
Look like a fun ride. Thanks for taking us along!
Thanks, KC! The scenic route always screams adventure!
Yes, the homestead was pretty cool, I don't know much about it. Gary, one of the EATV members (in orange) knows a lot about this area and what is where. Apparently, forestry didn't know about this homestead either before the group notified them. It's pretty crazy, some history to the area for sure.
Thanks for the compliments and comments! Appreciate it. I hope all is well with you.
Great video. We will need to source out the route and travel it as we have not been on it yet!! Another reason to trailer down from Regina.
I have the route we took on the GPS! Lots of exploring to do still. Would love to go back, so let me know if you make it this way. Thanks, Harv!
Looked like a beautiful day. A bit dusty, but gotta love sunshine.
I gotta start doing some of those group rides. They do ‘em around here now and then. I’m going to make that a goal for next year.
The marshy areas are very cool. That’s something I don’t see much of around here.
Igor, Igor, where are ya buddy?!!! Haha
Very cool area captured well by Igor’s drone footage.
That’s a nice machine washing area there at the end! Well, at least a pre-clean. Hope that wasn’t TOO far from the staging area.
Hey man, thanks. Yes, I recall it being a very nice day but dusty in the afternoon. The group rides have their ups and downs. They're nice for meeting new people or learning new trails, though.
Thanks for the comments, and compliments. Igor does well with the raw drone video. It's great being able to incorporate some of those views into the video. Put things into perspective! Lol.
Cheers, buddy. 🍻
Just in time for my morning coffee!!!! YEEEEHAW!
I get that static pop in my audio too, whenever I cut two clips together without using a transition.
Those trails along the river looked awfully similar to some of the areas we ride in. Are you sure you weren't in N.Sask? - LOL
13:53 - What did he say got stuck?
Looked like an awesome ride, other than the dust, but always good to ride new trails especially when they are so beautiful! Thanx for taking us along!
Thanks, Q! It was a nice area for sure... and I did notice a similarity to some of the trails you have there, along the rivers. I've never been up there before, so it was a nice change.
The popping issue was never much of a problem before. I would get the odd one in editing, but as time has gone on, I believe this was the start of my splitter starting to fail.
I usually spend some time adding captions to some of the dialogue that is hard to hear or understand clearly, but I didn't this time. He had said that "the racing quad got stuck." Referring to the 700cc Raptor that was on this ride with us this time.
Thanks again for checking in! I have to get back into the grind of things here.
Good video did you guys get a mapped route for that trail think I want to try it .make a day of if it
I'll see if Igor has it on ride command. I have the route on GPS, but I forgot to set it as its own route, so it's lumped in with everything else, lol.
