Bro, you're a lifesaver! As a web developer who's just starting out Bootstrap, this is superbly useful especially for those classes I'm unfamiliar with. Thank you!
That's super great explanation! Definitely I'll try to my projects! / but it's going to be responsive if you set up a fixed ( for example) width:500px; to your Form ?! Thanks!
using just class="form-group" to provide vertical spacing for forms does not appear to work anymore as that old margin-bottom: 15px is no longer part of the form-group class? Alternatively if you use class="mb-3" or class="myClass mb-3" you can add that spacing easily, you can of course change the number to whatever suits you.
Good Work - How ever this is still a static Form - Do you have any Videos/Tutorials where you sent this Form after being validated to an Email with AJAX/PHP ? This will really be helpful Thanks
Very good videos, you type very fast though i can hardly keep up! This is also because my text editor doesnt have as many shortcuts where it autofinishes the with a and stuff like that
I’m trying to create a form where there are multiple radio button options including an “other” option which then prompts for a text box response. How can I do this?
It seems like the container isn't optional anymore, as when I tried to wrap the firstname and lastname elements in a row without a container class it caused everything after it to be placed into a single row.
Hello could you tell me how to do the same red and green feedback messages but with a rendering Django form. Because I don't have the labels and the inputs in my project. I just have {{form.as_p}}. Thank you so much.
page is not redirecting to the form-action page (even all validations are correct) that I have given. after implementing this form validation. please help me
Hi Max. The e-mail validation of BS checks whether the user has an "@" in his email or not. But what about a "." (dot) just before an extension? BS says "Jeffrey@hello is a valid e-mailadress while it's not...
After implementing this, I'm getting a lot of white space on the left and right of my page. But I noticed that when I comment out: The white space goes back to normal. Does anyone know why this could be occurring?
Why use "vanilla JS" when Bootstrap requires jQuery and it is already loaded.? I have noticed that they do that too in the documentation for the validation API. Is it because it is written in javascript and those methods do not exist in jQuery?
jQuery is a fairly heavy library to load. It is fine though because for like ReactJS you can simply use 'ReactStrap', so that it does not depend on jQuery and Bootstrap JavaScript. Vanilla JS is just nice from the standpoint of you can easily modularize, change, or port the code since its native web-code.
This was a true drum-roll moment for me... "Uh-oh! What's he gonna do...how many will he list?" *leans in* "it all comes down to this!" "Male.....Female... Two!! Two genders, ladies and gentlemen!! He's done it! He's got a new subscriber folks!!"
some companies heavily use it. Bootstrap is just one of many CSS libraries that make it convenient for the developer to style/layout their pages. It is good to know the fundamentals of CSS as it makes using the CSS libraries/tools a lot easier as you have a good sense of what is happening behind the hood.
This is an on-point, fast but not rushed explanation. Helped me a lot. Thanks!
