Reboot means starting the series over, but “seeing what Jim and Pam are up to” wouldn’t be a reboot, it would be a continuation. How did nobody catch that?
Now that someone wrote a season 10 script and sent to the directors of the office it's gone from a 21% chance to a 67%, but it's probably gonna happen in 2022
They couldn’t do it cuz 1. Michael went to Colorado 2. Jim and Pam are now living in Austin working for Athete 3. Darryl is with athete 4. Andy is working at Cornell 5. Toby is writing a book series in New York 6. Holly is with Michael is Colorado 7. Creed went to jail 8. Kevin works at a bar 9. Oscar probably left to persue a political career 10. Nellie is somewhere in Europe 11. Stanley retired and moved to Florida 12. Phyllis would be retired 13. And they couldn’t just sustain the show without at least half the original cast and maintain the show 14. But they could do like something where they have like a reunion or something like maybe a 3 episode series or something 15. I love the office but I don’t think a successful full on reboot is possible
Who said they can’t change the storyline? Micheal and Holly move back for some reason, Creed is released, Toby will come back crying because he failed in life, Jim and Pam move back or visit, Andy visits, and all of it can be worked around. Do you really think since TV show characters that left DM can’t just be recasted?
They were going to have an original spinoff on Dwight and his siblings running Schrute farms, but they canceled the idea entirely. They should make the spin-off instead of the reboot.
The video doesn't actually confirm there being a reboot. This was SNL and was played off as a tongue-in-cheek joke. He never actually makes an announcement. The joke is to make it seem like it's an announcement for a reboot, only for the twist to be that he is actually announcing that it will be a great show tonight. This short deliberately cuts it off before that
I don't know why, but during the music montage when the East City music fired up I got that scratchy-about-to-cry well up. GT2 was so much more impactful than I think I will ever realise.
In my opinion, they shouldn’t have a reboot. They could have special episodes. 1.Michael’s married life with kids 2.Where are they now? 3.Dunder Mifflin Paper Company got caught in a wildfire and everyone just decided to check it out 4.Ryan and Kelly invites everyone to their grand wedding 5.Everyone helps to get Creed get out of jail😂 Man endless possibilities. I just want the damn show to keep going.
You can tell Steve really loved the show so this is really hard for him. They ruined it when they refused to bring him back and replaced him instead. They kept trying to fix things and in the end the best they could do was bring him back for the finale. This is like digging up the dead body of a loved one. You buried them and want to move on but the people around only want to prolong your pain
I would be happy if they did a real where are they now like in the last episode final part 1 and part 2 I would like if someone flew them all in and they got to get together and answer some questions from fans but irl
Yea just need one hour or 2 hour long episodes one following the main characters lives and then another hour they go into the people in the annex and the warehouse
If not a reboot maybe a sort of spin off with Michael Scott managing a new business and then the old staff could come back for some cameos here and there. Steve's character is strong enough to allow for new people to be in the show. Maybe Dwight should also be there now that I think about it 🤔😂
What do they mean? New episodes following Dwight as Manager, and the rest? A new group with Dwight as Michael? Michael and Holly? Completely new company and people?
Only if Michael is in it. Actually I would just like a Michael Scott spin off. Don’t even need the other characters. I like them but damn Michael Scott was the show.
I wasnt a big fan of the last 2-3 seasons. The new final line up with new characters they were boring as hell. I wouldnt mind if they had a new season following the lives of everyone in the show. That would be more interestinf.
I don’t even know what the reboot could be about. Michael and Holly moved to Colorado, Pam and Jim moved to Texas, and Creed is in prison for everything.
It was just officially announced actually. So it’s not going to be a reboot, but it is a spin-off - a very loose spin-off. The premise is that the same camera and documentary crew that filmed the office “documentary” is now going to film a documentary about a newspaper that is declining.
I don't want an office reboot, i want an extra episode that shows the lives of the office charecters and how their doing
Joey870
Same. How would they even make another season? Almost everyone from the Scranton branch is gone now.
@@Maiq_The_Liar2 Exactly
or they can do a whole season about their lives
I want it to end like how parks and recreation did
That'll be nice.
Id like to see more of Dwight.
Don't forget to include the Scranton Strangler. If you forgot who he was, ask Toby.
Wasnt toby strangled by the strangler

It's Michael or Jim

I don't want a reboot, but a one off "where are they now" episode would be amazing.

A season, each ep is every character
This was the literally what the last episode was
@@ronmathewjoe You know what they mean.

Was thinking the same thing. My bro UA-cam - are you a good person by living waters
It's Pam and Jeff!
One limited series would be nice to follow up on all of the characters.
he didn’t confirm it but i think it will happen

@@thedoctor5777 Sure, but I’m not saying they’re going to be recasted. The storyline doesn’t mean that they can’t bring the actors back.

They cancelled it because the pilot episode was so terrible.
All for it.
A time skip documentary episode about the all characters reuniting and how they’re adapting to current days.
Make it happen Mr. Schur.
I don’t think they could do a reboot cuz the only ppl who would still possibly be on the show are Dwight, Angela, Meredith, Pete, Clark, and Erin
Why not the rest?
They could make them like visit and chill in scranton for a while and make some episodes
@@Maxir-qu8qrCreed is crying rn
Wait ... she said "as SHE left for denver " ...... wasn't it "Michael" who left to Boulder , Colorado??
It’s 2024. Wassup?
As she left for Denver? Pam wasn’t going anywhere. Michael was the one leaving. And he wasn’t going to Denver. He moved to Boulder
Colorado**
Thats the gag. She then proceeds to mistake the name of Jim
I don’t want a reboot I want a new show where we focus on the characters and what they are doing now I wanna see Dwight be drunk on beet juice

Why
@@makayleighberlie2477There's no reboot. That's why.

He was going to Boulder, not Denver.

No one wants an office reboot. Can Hollywood just leave one golden thing alone?
Im grateful if they do a reboot but i honestly want to see michaels wedding 😭

It would be nice to see them again working together... not a reboot w other people!
Can i just say that no one wants an office reboot. It was popular when it was, but seeing where everyone is now in their life would be amazing!
Giving Scott’s totts vibes
Yes office reboot
2 season series rejoined older life, kids etc Dwight now runs Dundee mifflin
why he is NOT wearing a women's suit? Thats upsetting
YESSSS OFFICE REBOOT

They should do an Office reboot on Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Did a reboot ever happen?

Reboots usually ruin it. Don't do it. Seriously.
Classic Hollywood! No original ideas! Rebooting an American reboot
When is it coming out?
Fingers crossed
Jim is locked up for drink driving..... seriously, did you see how many times in the show he drank and then drove? He is a menace.
The Reboot should just be more episodes taking place as the main show was happening, like “more footage from the doc crew”.
Yea just need one hour or 2 hour long episodes one following the main characters lives and then another hour they go into the people in the annex and the warehouse

I believe it could happen probably not a whole season but it could be like a reunion or they come together for a death like david wallace
Ooo or maybe they come back for Creed’s funeral and he actually didn’t die
I dont want a reboot... I want a part 2 full on tv show 😂😂

It will be censored to hell in the current political climate, so it probably won't be funny, sadly.

I think that Steve Carrel was against the idea of a reboot, and one could kind of see that on his face in this clip.
