Hey Karen! You're the winner of this month's notebook challenge!!!! Send me an email at sarra@heartbreathings.com with your mailing address, and I'll get this out to you next week. Congrats!!!
Whenever I start to feel that I'm overdoing it with the number of notebooks and planners and journals I think of you and remember that you can never have too many!
One of my favorite videos every month. I have shifted from having multiple notebooks to a single notebook for everything. It's a journal, it's a list maker. It's planner overflow, etc. So far, so good. 🙂
@@hindenburg2006 I have a separate planner - I need dates and monthly/weekly views. I found having a journal, tarot journal, morning pages, purse notebook, book notes notebook, etc meant I wasn't using any of them because I don't have a place to keep them where my 5 year old can't reach and destroy. Went to one and now I have done so much more of everything!
@@mrsdudeandkids I have multiple notebooks; the problem is I usually lose the idea I'll having while I'm trying to figure out what notebook it goes in!😂 Still nailing down that system...but in the meantime i figure a running catch-all journal (bujo style) will probably work best for me. I'm also trying to figure out what planner I want next year...I've got it narrowed down to 4🙄😂
I have recently adapted your happy planner plotting for my own novel (which I am RE-re-plotting) and so far it has helped me get further than I have in the last decade of attempting to pull this story from my brain. 💖Love it!💖 Looking forward to hearing more about refilling that creative well, as mine has also gone dry over the last couple years. I find you inspire me to at least try again! 💖💖
I discovered Heart Breathings a few months ago. I’ve watched all of your videos. So glad I found this channel!!!!!Your how to plot a novel has helped me a great deal!!!
Love it! I use five x eight 3-ring binders to keep my mind straight: Reading log, Journal, Notes, House, Health. I use diary bullet journals for my Tarot readings and vision boarding. I appreciate how you use different journals to help keep you on track. So many ideas and thoughts pile up with no place to put them. You forget what you were doing. Notebooks are a concrete way to show yourself what you have been doing, they are a record for you.
One thing I have learned from you is if it is not working, change it up. If that means a notebook has to be put to the side, so be it. Sending lots of love as always Sarra!
I'm so glad you talked about allowing yourself / giving yourself permission to stop using a planner system when it fails to succeed as a tool. This is why it took me so long to even get into planning, but now I'm customizing my HB90 and tweaking planners like crazy and discovering all kinds of ways that it can help me track health issues, mood, things far beyond what I expected planners to be useful for. I also have more courage to actually use all those beautiful journals! Thank you!
I can relate to setting up a notebook for a specific purpose, only to abandon it afterward because it just added to the overwhelm of trying to keep up with so many different ones. And it seems like the more I try to use them up, the bigger my collection gets! So I figured why not go ahead and enter the giveaway because that notebook is gorgeous! Plus I also like B5 size. I still have that one journal I've been trying to fill up for the past 2-3 years! It won't hurt to have another one handy when I finally do! lol Recently, my bestie and I swapped planners. I gave her one of my TN covers that I wasn't using, and in return she gave me an A5 Moterm ring binder. I have fallen in love with it! I bought an A5 hole punch so I can print my own inserts. Between the Moterm and another A5 that I've set up as a writing binder, I've been having a blast! Good luck to everyone entering the giveaway! Also, Sarra, glad to hear you're getting back in the writing groove as well. I am, too! Here's to fresh starts and getting back to the joy and fun of writing! 😊💖
Planners and journals are my self care. I finally realized this recently. I have a weekly planner, monthly planner for my business, a teacher planner for school, two five year journals with prompts, a regular journal, a food journal, a weight tracker monthly notebook, and I still throw stuff onto the yellow notepad on my phone!! I just love feeling and seeing the ink land on the pages. It relaxes me and I love words and expressing my thoughts on paper!!
Hi, Sara. Great collection. I know how amazing it feels to find a writing routine. I did the same thing with HP covers. When they were on clearance I’d pick up a couple. I just need to break them in. Creative Blessings!
Discovered your channel a few weeks back, your videos are so relaxing and I watch them while knitting during my quiet time in the evening. Mays goals are to write more and to journal my crafting properly.
I love your notebook challenge videos. I have so many notebooks and they are everywhere in my house, but I still keep buying more! You help me with ideas for what to use them for and all of your videos are so inspiring. Thank you for all that you do and I always look forward to your upcoming videos. Thank you
I love that you're like me when it comes to not being afraid to put something aside and moving to something new. When I feel something is not working, I do that.
I'm so greatful I'm not the only one trying to figure things out. I'm wishing you luck that you find the path that will lead you to the place you need to be.
You can never have too many notebooks. I love the idea of morning magic / afternoon alignment / evening ?. I think I need to do something like this for myself. I have been feeling out of sorts lately, off balance, and maybe this would help me find my center.
Another great notebook challenge! I appreciate you sharing it’s okay to try something new, but go back to what works. Glad I’m not alone with that process. The reads look great can’t wait to check them out.
Always look forward to these videos monthly and the cue to evaluate my own notebook situation. Thanks for your encouragement about notebooks/planners as tools - no need to beat ourselves up! 👍 I agree!
I always love your notebook challenge videos and sometimes get ideas on how to use my blank notebooks. Hope you are able to get rolling on your newest book! Good luck!
Love your videos Sarra❤️ thank you for explaining your book journal and I would love to see the set up of it❤️ I brought a happy notes so I can plot my book because you inspired me so much and I think imma buy the hourly happy planner❤️
I'm rebooting my 6M4L plan this month as well 😀 I'm focusing on my health and wellbeing, and have set myself SMART goals that are modest enough to feel achievable, so I build positive momentum - something I learned from you ❤️
I am always so motivated and inspired every notebook challenge! This so much fun. I like how you are getting back into creativity. I can't wait to see your writing vlogs! 😍
I totally dig that journal. I love the composition nb size. For my #6month4life project I left a negative family situation and am going for a new career in a new field. April I moved out, May I'm focusing on education for my new industry. :)
Sometimes I have a hard time letting go of systems. I'm so relieved to know I am not the only one! And super excited to hear you are doing Becca Syme's Strengths. It has changed my life in so many ways!
Thank you for sharing with us. I'm a visual learner too, and I had no idea there were this many journals out there. You have opened my eyes to a whole new world, lol.
Hi Sarra, thank you for doing this video every month and doing such a generous giveaway. I’ve been struggling to use my notebooks, even my daily pages in my Hobonichi Cousin after struggling with some fertility issues. I hope this coming month can be more positive, and my notebooks can actually help me get back out of my funk/depression. Much love. ❤️
The notebook would be great for my writing classes that I do three times a week with my day program for adults with Autism on Zoom. Along with my personal journaling. I would love to have that notebook! It’s beautiful! I have Autism! I am proud to be different!
I love to see all the journals you showcase. I just bought an out of date Happy Planner. Using Washi tape, I sectioned it into chapters/scenes to work out plots, and I use the calendar pages to note who the POV characters are for each chapter. Thanks for sharing so much!
Whenever I start feel lazy with my notebook, planning, journaling, etc, watching your video about your planning system make me feel to "wake up " again. Even though your channel it's not specific about planner book 😅😅😅
I like your video very much, it inspires me a lot and gives me many ideas to outline my bullet journal. thanks for your sharing and look foward to your videos.
I've got a EC grid-lined notebook that I use for tracking various game stuff! It really does help... not only the visual tracking, but also giving me something to work on. Otherwise I'll just log in, idle in town talking to people, and then log out when I'm tired. Having trackers for gear, leveling, etc. really works.
I've been slacking on using some of my notebooks this year so far, but I have LOVED working on my reading journal. I started one midway through last year but this one is so much better organized and fun to use since now I have an idea of what I want to track!
This has been my favorite planner stack video you’ve done😊 I especially love the “morning magic, afternoon alignment”, and what I’m assuming is ‘evening essentials’😄🧡
I've been slowly building my notebook use over the years. I've tried Palm Pilots (Casio version), Day Runners, Making my own calendars, Spread Sheets, Doing "DaVinci Books", and my own version of BuJo before it was a thing. I still tweak things now and again, going from VERY spartan, to this year adding more colors and doodles, and sticky notes. You really have to work to find what works for you and your life. And sometimes, as life changes, those things have to change and evolve, too. Very nice set ups you have going.
I've been slacking on my planner the last quarter or more. I finally got it set up again last night and I can't tell you how good it felt. I'm getting back into using notebooks, multiple planners, and back into my spiritual routine and daily tarot reading again. Love the content. Thanks for all you do!
Thank you for the inspiration Sarra! I’ve been slacking somewhat this year in the journaling department and am keen to get going. Love the gold edged composition style journal for your give away btw! Also, it would be fun and inspiring to watch your coffee shop/ writing blogs 💜
I love your videos! But I especially love learning from you - the washi on keyrings!!! It's such a good storage idea. I'm going to try it because I always forget about them. Thank you.
I’ve been slacking using my planner this past month. My month looks all filled in but April weeks was not used well. I did finish my romance novel but I ended up ha I g to push out the preorder. Monday which is tomorrow we officially move the kids to the next school year and I got a new planner for that. But as for me, I need to get in the habit of writing and following my plan to be consistent.
April flew bye! Finished two journals since I am in three writing classes a day. I finally started using a journal for my mental health that I got last year at Barns And Noble. It’s beautiful with the sun, moon, and stars on it. I didn’t want to use it because it was so beautiful. I know that I need to use it. I am using it to help me cope with my anxiety disorders. I have a genetic disorder that causes several chronic illnesses and chronic pain. All the trauma that I have been through I am finally starting to cope and process all the medical trauma. I am also coping with problems one of my former doctors caused.
As always. I am amazed on your collections and in-the-works notebooks. You are an inspiration.
Hey Karen! You're the winner of this month's notebook challenge!!!! Send me an email at sarra@heartbreathings.com with your mailing address, and I'll get this out to you next week. Congrats!!!
Congrats 🎊
Happy May!! To enter the giveaway, just comment, like, and subscribe! Open internationally. I'll announce a winner Friday, May 6th!

Absolutely! Though I really need a climate-controlled room dedicated to my journals and notebooks.
