that main line makes me think of two of my characters, one, an older sister, who screwed up badly, causing her younger brother to hold a grudge and hate her. despite her efforts to fix things between the two, her brother refuses to acknowledge her as family, which makes sense for the 'everytime i see your face in mine' as they look very similar. the brother is very reckless and angry, consumed by his pain caused by his sisters mistake, while she pretends she is completely fine, feigning emotionlessness at times, to cover up how much it hurts knowing she caused this change in her younger brother. she feels responsible for him being the way he is, and i can just imagine the brother screaming this song at her while she watches, keeping a blank expression as tears roll down her face and guilt sears her heart. love this song~

I love this song so much it's so relatable whether your not an emo or a depressed person... Especially when you're trying to move on..
that main line makes me think of two of my characters, one, an older sister, who screwed up badly, causing her younger brother to hold a grudge and hate her. despite her efforts to fix things between the two, her brother refuses to acknowledge her as family, which makes sense for the 'everytime i see your face in mine' as they look very similar. the brother is very reckless and angry, consumed by his pain caused by his sisters mistake, while she pretends she is completely fine, feigning emotionlessness at times, to cover up how much it hurts knowing she caused this change in her younger brother. she feels responsible for him being the way he is, and i can just imagine the brother screaming this song at her while she watches, keeping a blank expression as tears roll down her face and guilt sears her heart.
