Yo no estaba seguro pero al final decidí hacerme la permanente. La verdad quede conforme como me quedo, unos rulitos HERMOOOSOS. No me arrepiento me quedo precioso el nuevo LOOK!!
Thanks! I'm not sure why it would be in anyone's recommendations... maybe you looked up perms? Ha. My friends and I had a public access TV show in the 90s and this was actually on TV. The story of its origins is totally true... and I am probably leaving out some of the details. Glad it made you happy! (signed the guy getting the perm, I forgot I am on another account)
@Franklin .. sounds interesting “discipline “ perm. . When I started going to those “grandma” old school beauticians for my haircuts .. they’d be shampooing my hair trying to talk me into letting them perm my hair. I always backed out afraid it would look horrible.. but to test it out without a “ permanent perm” .. I withstood the embarrassment of people staring at a 30 yr old guy in a beauty shop and let them pin curl the top of my head to get an idea of a body wave.. didn’t work out … my grandmother pin curled her hair …ironically… I remember as a young boy one time she was shampooing my hair at the kitchen sink and said if I was bad , she would pin curl my hair! So my brother and I were careful to behave on hair washing nights ..
Wow! That’s probably why I would always chicken out in getting a perm..it’s not bad on you I wouldn’t have good luck... I figured this was from the 90s .. I could tell by the decor and those gold color sinks they wash hair in... my first haircut in a salon was when I was in college at 20... the place had those same gold sinks and they looked worn then.. it was my first hair washing in a salon .. and I still remember the lady that shampooed me.. she was older than my grandmother easily 75 .. short plump and gray haired.. a bit rough shampooing my scalp .. I was rather embarrassed and antsy in the chair .. you looked relaxed.. kept telling me “don’t move or turn your head “. “ put your head all the way back “ .. “ honey you have to keep your head all the way back “ was a shampoo I never forgot
@david elliott .. hi David.. I wear my hair short now so there’s nothing to perm ! Couldn’t get a rod round me.. but in college and my 30s I had much longer hair.. these old ladies that used to cut my hair were always trying to talk me into getting a perm .. I always chickened out .. I was afraid I’d end up looking like one of them ! They gave My friend one his turned out really good..these old grandma beauticians did a lot of men.. once I got as far as them shampooing my hair and chickened out at the last second so they just cut my hair ..
@david elliott.. lol! It would take me well over a year to grow my hair long enough to get permed .. i don’t think my barber now does perms ... I’d still be too chicken .. the women that used to cut my hair did many Curly perms on men , they gave my friend one it turned out good but with my luck I’d look like my grandmother .. besides those ladies are dead .. one is in her 90s and was cutting my hair when she was almost 80 when I was in my 30s.. who does your perm ?
CUANDO FUI A HACERME LA PERMANENTE LE DIJE A LA PELUQUERA QUE USARÁ LOS BIGUDIES MÁS FINITOS Y ASÍ ME QUEDARON UNOS RULITOS MOTAS BIEN AFROS. UNA HERMOSUURA!! 😀❤️❤️❤️❤️👍
I had one in grade school and middle school... In high school, my friends bet me I wouldn't get another. Told them I would if they raised the money... and they did, so I made good on the bet!
@permfan.. I kind regret now I didn’t try a perm when I had longer hair .. I got my haircuts in an old lady beauty shop and always chickened out. Many times she’d cut my hair in between a perm on some old lady .. always wondered what it would be like and felt with rods in my hair and a hair net while drying under the dryer. I’d always leave smelling of perm solution ! The ladies did try a mini “ fake” perm on me just to give me an idea what some body would look like .. so I got what I called the “weekly grandma” special. Shampooed me and pin curled the top of my head… damn those things hurt! Let alone being embarrassed.. I remember my grandmother pincurling her hair when I was a young boy.. and if my brother and I were bad .. she threatened to pin curl our hair after she finished shampooing us !
I love my hair styled curly and wavy too and love beauty salons for hair styles and beauty facials too lovely ladies 💐💆♂️💁♀️
❤❤❤ Love this video. Awesome perm . Will be growing my hair out now to get one just like it.
Парень-романтик и смельчак! Ну а ежели честно,то результат по-своему свеж и красив. Мастер-Умничка!

You would have enjoyed my discipline perm. Wasn't asked for. The stylist being much older and long time friend chose to do it. Embarrassed.
@@franklin76 I'm about to do a marathon of your videos rn😂 the irony you commented
