Vacations, and Jobs. Dave's first impressions of Jiu Jitsu and why he started. Etc.
Jocko: I've started video editing
Echo: oh, what program are you using?
Jocko: My iPad
Part genius, part cave man; the dichotomy ofJocko
Jocko: "Your job is safe....kind of"
Nice to see the mellow side of Jocko. He seems like he can break balls with the best of them. Poor Echo is constantly being set up for his next jab. Lmao.
Echo sets himself up
like when you accidentally pull mount

This PODCAST cured MY....
SKINNY KNEES
lol relentless
Thank you Echo for saying "that's me every single day". Makes me feel better. It's very hard as a brown belt woman. I have a target on my back and everyone is bigger and stronger.
THREE episodes published in ONE day : efficiency ... !!!
I see #4 on my sidebar....
Jocko’s GETTIN’ AFTER IT... hard core.
We gotta get jocko talking about squats again 😂
I’m starting Brazilian Jiu Jitzu this week thanks to you guys!!
Welcome to the cult 🙌🏽
Jiu Jitsu :)
Welcome
I'm a new white belt. It is such a game changer. @64. :0
How's it going??
I miss new episodes from that podcast. It's so legit
Jocko: what’s happening?
Echo: *looks around, mumbling confused*
Hahaha
Training BJJ began to actually change the way I move entirely, not just how I move on the mat. I began to visualize movment more clearly and I developed instincts I didn't think I could have. Don't underestimate BJJ, it's a mind changer.
A short change of location is the most alpha way to say your going on holiday
I freaking love that Jocko holds the knife while talking, nobody seems to notice but it makes me feel far less psychotic for doing so myself occasionally!
Thanks Jocko, you're making the world a better place one intimidating habit at a time!
Have been listening to your podcast for a few months now. You, your team an guests have me seriously considering the path my life is headed to. Makes me feel I should take that next step to join those who risk it all so our friends an family can continue living in security. Not only that but the more selfish side of learning the skills and building the will to better myself in order to help those around me.
Get it!
Finally these are on youtube!
The Marine Corps gave me a 3 yr trip to O'ahu at this beautiful resort MCAS Kaneohe Bay!
Love the episodes with Dave! Keep it Up!
I look at jocko and I say to myself that's how I want to be in my 40. Watched him so much and still do to a point he became a someone I look up too and it's amazing we are vlessed to have such a guy in our time.
Love the new format!
I like this more casual podcast environment.
He was the guy that crashed a bomber carrying a general in Saving Private Ryan. Great guest.
Irish Technical Thinker brigadier general “Amen “
This is awesome!
Another great episode with Good Deal Dave
"Its better to be a warrior in a garden, than a gardener in a war" Its best to just be a gardener in a garden! Cause then you know what you're doing.. you can just do your job.. nobody's missing any limbs.. nobody has PTSD..
Sticking your head in the sand isn’t always an option
PTSD does not only happen to soldiers. Everyday people in society get it as well due to all sorts of circumstances. Part of the “warrior in a garden” saying is addressing the fact that it helps you prepare for the worst case scenario that you hope doesn’t happen to you. You may be a gardener in a garden but if war enters your garden then what?
@@ericshipp51 Some people live in a delusional state inside the safety of the walls with no appreciation for the warriors who guard the walls and provide the safety they enjoy.
Am I the only one who thinks he would be the perfect Master Chief ?
Good Deal Dave back at it again
I love when Jocko and echo jab eachother
Watch the sun rise from a duck blind or the woods with good friends or alone. Pretty sweet.
David Berke my Idol how I would love to work beside him just for one days
Whats the website Jocko mentions at the end?
One month vacation is too much for a working professional, 2 weeks at the most and that's a lot!
Hey man 84k a year is not to bad :)
I just ordered some JockoJuice because of this video.
Eww
@@AngryOscillator It's actually pretty good lol.
At first I thought grounded meant Dave couldn't fly for some reason.
How does Jocko look more like the living embodiment of discipline in color.....
Echo looks jacked 😂
Zak Ford Correction; Echo is Jaacked.
@@parkeranderson5074 SHREEEEEDED
Dope
Echo is so fucking jacked lmao😂😂😂
There you go. As soon as people are in the studio start rolling tape and then cut out the beginning if it isn't any good.
This Jocko, Echo
To watch a baby day be born is awesome, and it happens daily.)
Got some

Peaks and valleys, in life and jiu jitsu.
Trainche ah JuJits!
What is happenned?
Man what happened to the black and white?
Things aren't so black and white in grounded... Ya know. Shades of Grey. Or colour.
Echo was on vacation..Jocko didn't know how to edit that part..🤣😂
WHen I was younger and more of a criminal I would grill my buddies about eating dinner with their parents and shit, like Jocko and Dave do to Echo
KA-SUM
Look at the size of his fucking arms

Cool low Iq podcast, pls dont kill me
why do you even bother laying a comment like that if youre so smart
Echo should learn to be a part of the conversation, and not interject himself. Dave got drowned out, Dave was supposed to be the guest speaker. The podcast got awkward at times, due to Echos interruptions. #JustSaying
