Most movies can't even make a human couple seem believable, but Wall-E and Eve who are literally robots is one of the best love stories I've ever seen. And there's hardly even any dialogue between them, just interactions. What a masterpiece the movie creators have made
Beautiful movie. I'm actually glad that there wasn't a sequel because this movie was just flawless and perfect. Where it ended was just right, and I don't want a sequel to ruin it.
Wall-E is a masterpiece. It was nominated for the 2009 Kid's choice awards, but sadly lost to Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. If there was any Pixar film I'd like a sequel to, it'd be Wall-E. Unfortunately, Pixar recently said they'd be putting sequels on hold for an unspecified amount of years after The Incredibles 2 releases.
Timothy Darden, while seaquels don't always suck, wall-e to me was satisfying, i just simply don't want a sequel, it was nice and acheived it's messages, the love message but the greater and deeper message of the planet and humans. Let wall-e be to be known forever as a brilliant masterpiece.
Re-watched the movie today... Ladies, gentlemen... What a supreme masterpiece, almost cried of sadness and joy, laughed of some silly things that I haven't expressed anything when I half-hearted watched this, back when I was a stupid immature youngster watching with my mother in the movies... This one movie made me feel a shitload of things, even without a whole lot of words and beautiful well fitted OSTs... May more movies like this come along.
I just love how the composers of Disney movies can make one piece of music sound so beautiful. When I listen to this there's a bunch of beautiful blue and purple colors that pop into my mind.
Enid Rocio Fernandez-Rios, i can litterally create a motion which aligns with this music. curves, ups, downs, loops, i love it, double loops, criss crosses, double criss cross loops XD
In my opinion Wall-E is the best 3D animated movie of all time and probably disney's best movie by far, the animation and music are beautiful, the comedy, the flawless and positive ending, and the deeper stuff, like their realist depiction of the earth covered in trash and how it's still not too late to make things better and how amongst all the people in the spaceship, Wall-E was the most human of them all
One of the reasons I LOVE Wall-E is because there's scenes like this where there's no talking, only music and beautiful visuals. I've heard people conplain about how there's barely any talking in Wall-E, and that makes me sad. It's almost like they think that talking is the only way of communicating a feeling.
This movie gives me conflicting emotions. I feel happy from wall e's personality, but i feel depressed from the loneliness of space and the eternal thought of being alone forever, especially with the first part of wall e on earth.
Fun Fact: In the original script, this scene used "Stardust" from Bing Crosby, but Thomas Newman asked Andrew Stanton if he could score the scene himself. The result: so much better, the scene works beautifully with this theme and it's one of Newman's best work so far
I love Wall-e. Always have and always will. It's like everytime I listen to the soundtracks, it brings back memories, and I always feel sad. I miss being really little
There’s a nostalgic/ sad/happy with this song. Is almost as if its talking about the nature of life to someone who is just knowing the world. Grow, do things, move, suffer, celebration, playing, etc. I feel like I’m appreciating the world around me and its functionality
That trippy downstep on the synthetic flute strokes my soul blue. I'm addicted to the vast forget me not longing that this beautiful music makes me feel. I feel like there's an Eva for Me out there somewhere. We all need a hand to hold.
Oh yess i really love he uses flute strokes & flute harmonies in general! One of my absolute favourite things about him that strikes me out the most, in all of his tracks, even in his Skyfall & Spectre ost, the use of Bonds motif in that flute harmonies are chiefs kiss!🎶🎶
Never fails to make me smile. I can imagine this playing as me and my girlfriend are together looking out the window of an Amtrak Pennsylvanian train seeing all the beautiful scenery on the way to Altoona.
This is so nostalgic, I remember watching this film so often when I was really young and every time I watched it there was something new I noticed in the film and that made me love it even more. Songs like this would also stay in my mind for days on end because I was so obsessed with this film.. I really want to rewatch it now☹️
i loved wall-e when i was younger, just cause its cute im a teenager now, and its more than cute, i finally understand how beautifully crafted this movie was. it truly is a cinematic masterpiece
Perfect song for ice-skating! I love it so much! A perfect mix of synthetic and real music It's so..calm and soothing...I always imagine myself ice-skating or swimming underwater to this.
I love how this piece stays in Lydian for the most part but has the small pieces of Ionian in between. Harmonically it is really satisfying and it also provides a nice parallel to wall-e having a robotic exterior but with a human likeness inside.
A year later, I know, but this is one of the select songs that use Lydian AS Lydian. Many “Lydian” compositions end up not using the tonic correctly and instead melt into another key, C to G for example. But no, this song uses the Lydian sound and maintains it with only small deviations!
Imaging flying around in a beautiful world with this music playing. That would just be incredible and every time I listen to this music. That thought always comes into my head.. Truly amazing and that's why I love this music!
Having loved this movie for 15+ years, I can say with confidence that this is the best song in the film (and that says something since the entire OST is magnificent in and of itself). The violins at 0:47 always hit me the hardest, it's damn impossible for me to not feel fuzzy and have the biggest smile on my face. As I listened to it more, I realize that this might just be my comfort song. Every time I hear its sweet notes, I forget about all the troubles in my life and the increasingly cynical world around me. I just think about that beautiful scene in the movie where WALL-E and EVE are just flying about without a care in the universe in blissful ignorance. Whenever I listen to this masterpiece of a song, the only thought in my head is "Everything is gonna be okay".. Thank you, Thomas Newman, for giving us such an immaculate, stunning soundtrack.
This theme, along with Ratatouille and Married Life from UP, are bound to be my favorite film scores of all time. While UP is a whole 'nother story, Define Dancing and the Ratatouille main theme makes something go off in my head, an idea. That idea is that there's beauty all around you, all you need to do is just be willing to take it in. Saying that those soundtracks are just stunning would be an understatement. Also, little side note, if you've never heard of this soundtrack, you can easily tell it's Thomas Newman, since he somewhat reuses the same instrumental techniques that he used in "American Beauty".
I swear I heard this when I took my wife's hand for the first time on our second date on a starry evening, and a shooting star 🌠 appeared. Honest to Heaven it happened!
Romantic relationships are not a beautiful thing. Romance causes a lot of problems in this world. Life is a lot better without romance than it is with it. Romantic love is not special at all.
Even at 9 years old when I first watched Wall-E scenes like this made me realize that it a form of cinema a cut above most family friendly movies I was used to watching at the time, plus even at that age I totally got the enviromental message... Still one of my favourite films of all time! 💙
When I was like 8 when it first came out, I just loved the scene and never knew exactly what made it so beautiful. But now that I’m older, I know all about ost’s and a good sense of a good movie plot line. And this... this could probably never be topped.
The last vacation I got to take with my Mom was to Orlando Florida, to Universal and Epcot. When we got to Epcot one of the first things we did was the colortopia room. This song played while we were waiting in line while the colors danced around us. It felt so magical, like Disney should. My Mom has sadly passed away now and I can’t help but think of that moment every time I hear this song. It’s very bitter sweet. I miss you Mom.
i’m sorry for your loss to one of my friends committed suicide so when i listen to this song it gives me chills to know he’s in a better place now but it also gives me sadness as well
This song will forever remind me of my dog Eeva(name influenced by this movie). I just loved this movie at the time when I got my dog I had to name her Eeva.

Vaughn Porter Seriously? Bet it was beautiful
The song just screams romantic vibes, so I can imagine it was very fitting ❤️
Did you fly around the room with a dozen of fire estinguisher strapped to you tho?
Oke.
It must have been majestic
This song reminds of the fact that, even if space is empty and kind of lonely, It's quite a beautiful place.
It's as enchantingly beautiful as it is incredibly horrifying.
It's beautiful because most of it is untouched by mankind
I love this music. This just makes wanna go dancing, ice skating, water sliding, etc... I don’t know... anything with the love of my life! 😍☺️

True.. it's just as good as that one theme from Pacific Rim where Gipsy Danger fights Otachi with a boat-sword

This movie gives me conflicting emotions. I feel happy from wall e's personality, but i feel depressed from the loneliness of space and the eternal thought of being alone forever, especially with the first part of wall e on earth.
Think of it this way, from the depths of the greatest despair, and utter loneliness, their is always hope, love will find a way.
And it's even more sad that the earth is becoming very slowly like that right now
