I'm not a fan, but I like Quo. I'm reading his book at the moment, it's a fascinating read and made me appreciate their music more. I'm amazed he's still here the amount of sniff he did.
Yes l would say so at lot of your songs are more melodic than people think the acoustic works very well and with age and experience you are good at improvisation on the instrumental breaks.
I love Softer Ride. Of course I wanna listen to it! Maybe I don't exactly understand what you mean, but if you'd like to know how we feel about Softer Ride played as an instrumental, I'm sure I love it too. I often listen to instrumental songs. Please do whatever you are excited about and interested in, even if nobody has ever done it. And, thank you for your charming smile💚
I'd take Lies with the lead break from Aquostic too! Yes the more soloing/instrumental edgy & bluesy the better for me! I'm fine with Softer Ride being in. Also "sat down in a thingy" that's the live album title right there lol.
It's a great song Francis. I was interested to read in I Talk Too Much that you and Bob actually wrote this but gave the writing credit to Rick and Alan.
To quote Michael Harding, I have followed his career closely, with a bucket and shovel. I'm going to buy a ticket for a show, and he can play whatever he wants.
Love 'Softer Ride' Songs with melody on acoustic guitar, what could be better.

It's definitely worth including in your set, but how about 'A Year' or 'Unspoken Words'? Now that's a challenge worth considering!

4500 Times with a long solo on your acoustic guitar with Andy backing would be fantastic. I really mean that. I guess I must be a bit eccentric
