Thank you! It is unfortunate that I had to use so many mods to pull this off but hopefully you can still find some inspiration in this series. Thanks for checking it out!
I've recently purchased this game after watching what both you and Evo have been able to do. Also, I was a huge fan of Operation Genesis back in the day. I'm not yet ready for mods but seeing just how you put all this together is quite impressive. I love these beyond the scenes style videos.
That's awesome to hear! I was definitely overwhelmed at first when I decided to start playing around with mods so I think you're making the right choice to hold off for a bit. Thank you for checking the videos out and for commenting!
I finally see another JP fan-atic like me who even check the film real locations photos for more accuracy haha That's true dedication! Btw I'm curious to see how you created the concrete moat in the T.rex paddock.. I assume it's a lagoon wall covered in some parts with terrain, using both "expanded terrain tools" and "open lagoons" 🤔
Hell yeah man! Aside from the dinosaurs (obviously), my biggest fascination with the film growing up was the environment. If it doesn't look close then it throws the whole thing off. In regards to the T-Rex paddock, the video for that will be coming very soon. Unless something changes, there are only two more videos to go before we get to it. Thanks as always. Hope all is well!
@@SeanBuildsParks In the last episode the tour path immediately had dirt instead of the grass texture and when you used the water had the dirt texture instead of the grass texture when you used it in this episode
Do you know another mod that lets you use the long grass? I have done something similar to this but the only problem is that the long grass had to be substituted for another thing and it chopped the fps like crazy
The only other mod that actually has the long grass is expanded foliage brushes. It's not individually placeable and the mod in general is a beta so it causes a few problems with other mods unfortunately
Every build I've done up until this one has been on console, including a version of JP 93. I'm holding off on returning to console builds until the game is completed by Frontier due to fact that I have to start over completely. For example, I can't go into my console JP build to incorporate the new viewing galleries or trees. Either way, my hope is that anyone who watches any of my videos will gain inspiration to build their own unique parks and not carbon copies
Ah, so the landscaping secret was Kaiodenic's Expanded Sceneary... I should have known, his mods totally transform the game into 1,000 times better. This is still quite an impressive work, I'm taking a lot of ideas from your videos =) I was one of the obssesed with taking screencaps and set photos for builds too haha
I'm happy to hear that! This build wouldn't have been possible without the extensive mod list which is kind of a shame but I'm happy to have access to them either way. Thanks for checking the video out!
Thank you! It is indeed an old recording. This entire build was done in version 1.6.4. A few shots in the JP Rise of Nublar video were done in 1.7 though
I'm happy to hear that! The mod is called "overgrowth" by kaiodenic. I'm not entirely sure if it's working with the current version of the game though. Either way, thanks for checking the videos out!
Although it sucks now that I cant replicate this build because of the mod use I have to say it was for the best. now that you use mods you are more free to be creative and it shows, cant wait for the next one.
That's very true! I'd like to think that the build series can still provide inspiration for everyone regardless of what platform they're playing on too.
Hello there! Very good job again! Do you still plan to share thoses maps on nexus anytime? It would be amazing to live the dream and discover all the details of every maps :-) Cheers
Thank you! I do still plan on it but I have very limited time to work on stuff. My next project is rather involved so that's my priority right now. As far as the Rise of Nublar map goes, I got a bit of an update but there's still no definite timeline unfortunately.
Sure, it's a lot of work and make the map again is very time consuming. I always forgot you did all you amazing work on game console ^^' I'll wait the day it would be available. In the mean time i'll continue to follow your work. Thank you for the answer. Have nice holidays 🙂@@SeanBuildsParks
So impressive! I’m currently working on my own « Jurassic Park 2010 » build but of my own design rather than trying to keep to the novels/films! Qq: do you know if you can add the expanded scenery mod to a save file or would I have to start over? Just curious, beautiful build! ❤
Thank you! I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to add expanded scenery to an existing file though. I would just make a backup save just in case!
This video made me a bit sad the build is REALLY GOOD (Good job on it) but since im on console im reminded i cant use mods ☹️
Same

I really like your work.
Good job 👍
Back at ya. Thank you so much for checking it out!
Loving this series. It has given me losts of good ideas for park planning in sandbox, or even Chaos. Thanks
Also good luck and positive vibes.
Thank you for checking it out! I'm happy to that you're enjoying it!
Thabks for showing us this.
And thank you for watching it!
@@SeanBuildsParks your welcome.

@@SeanBuildsParks You're welcome. Commenting helps with the ever eldritch Algorithm and I'm trying to be better about doing so on videos I enjoy.

Man how do you get the dirt to come out of everything?
What do you mean?
@@SeanBuildsParks In the last episode the tour path immediately had dirt instead of the grass texture and when you used the water had the dirt texture instead of the grass texture when you used it in this episode
It's gotta be one of the mods that I used but I haven't had much time to investigate which one. If I can figure it out I'll definitely let ya know!
@@SeanBuildsParkshow did you get expanded scenery to work?
This was all done in version 1.6.4 before expanded scenery broke
expanded scenary mod has not been updated, crash the game! how have u done ?
This build was done in version 1.6.4 when expanded scenery still worked!

Hopefully this won’t be a lot but can u pls do it again but without the mods for the console players

yes but verryy old ahhahaha

I do feel a bit bad as the channel was based around unmodded builds but I'll return to them someday!
@@SeanBuildsParks You shouldn’t feel bad, the mods let you make better builds and that’s the important part.

How do you pull up the menu with all the trees? (i have all of your mods)
You would press H but the mod is currently broken
