I see that you were using apple pencil, do you open figma in a browser as well on ipad to do this?

For those of you motion designers and video people looking to get into UX, you probably know the job market is saturated with UX designers so it's currently a tough field to break into. A great way to get a leg up over the competition is to find a motion/video job at a company that has a UX department. Once employed (and shown to be an asset to your company) you may have the opportunity to be able to be help the UX department with some projects, get experience, and possibly be able to be brought on their team full time. Lot's of companies love hiring from within.

What is the advantage of doing in figma, when it can be done in illustrator

The templates, layout automation, instances, collaboration as far as I understand.
The set up might take longer and some tools are clearly not on the level of Illustrator, but for large iterative projects this is a very powerful tool.
