omg no way!! We loved Tico Tico- as you know it was such a special place and a great location. Unsure if Vernita was there during your stay but she made it so memorable for us. Shared all her special spots in the area, we cant wait to go back

Was there like a day pass to “Tulemar” hotel? I’m staying in another hotel when I get there but I would love to do what you all did on the day pass

When we went we just wanted to access the beach at first but when we got there we were told we were only able to do it by going to Tule Cafe and pay up to $50 for their beach. Since that was more than we wanted to pay the alternative was to just go to the cafe (pay for a meal) and enjoy the pool instead so that is what we did! Unfortunately we weren’t able to access the other pools just the one you see, but as you can see it was still lovely so I still recommend that!
I did a quick google search on it for you and I think this sums it up well to give you a better idea on what they allow outside guests to access: “The official Tulemar rules mandate that only guests staying in Tulemar can access the facility. This means: no beach through the front gate, no Sloth Institute, no access to the 33 acres. So you can enter through the Lobby and then be taken to the Tule Cafe. And you can access the other beach club down on the main beach (Playa Espadilla) that's the Buena Vista Beach Club. Same great Tulemar Service right on Playa Espadilla if you want to pay that fee! “
Hope this helps! And have an amazing time in Costa Rica!

@@thevogeltwins Thanks I might decide to go to the spa there and see if I can just spend a half day there. Did you all go during rainy season?
