i feel like this is one of those relationships that you can't really define. they blurred the lines a lot for me at least. and i love shows that are able to pull those kind of relationships off so well, serious props to the writers. i think dongshik embodied a lot of things for joowon.. but the chemistry and all the speaking they did with just their eyes was phenomenal. you can see suspicion and distrust turn into something deeper just from the way they gazed at each other, but the intensity of the emotions were the same throughout. the two actors were just perfect for their roles honestly.

I seriously JUST ended the show a second ago and immediately jumped to see any content related to the 2 of them, man this was a great watch. Shows like these where the connection between 2 characters are so indescribable that it blurs the lines between relationship and companionship are something i just love to see and the fact it was so well portrayed
Honestly even tho the drama had a satisfying ending I still felt so sad for the characters 😢 esp han as he has no one and will spend his whole life feeling like he has to aston for his father's sins; in fact the only place that accepted him is manyang but he knows that he can't stay because song dik said everytime he sees his face he's reminded of his father 😭 that's why the ending was good but also sad SUCH A GREAT DRAMA
Dong Sik at the end tells to Jonwoo that his father's appeals have nothing to do with him, it is his way of telling him that he no longer reminds him of his father, that they are different people for him
It was very clear that dong sik has trusted and forgiven him completely in the end which is why he also tells him tk take care of himself like the “ make sure you eat well “ line . “ Ju won has decided to keep atoning for what happened but Manyang ( and Dongsik) has accepted him as their own should he ever choose to return there he has a place there
Dong Sik indeed said that to Joo Won after Joo Won dashed out to Chief Jung's house so Dong Sik won't take the blame, later at the end of the series, all the Manyang know about Joo Won's whereabouts and what he does after moving from Manyang, meaning they care about him, they even call him multiple times, to them Joo Won already part of them
Actually smart inspector learnt a lot for his partner Do Shik, his relationship changed from rivals to deep trust,probably his best friend arrogant young inspector who hide his emotions became so emotional .
This was so beautiful that I actually cried while watching it. You included the best moments between these two. I know it's just bromance, but they honestly would make such a perfect, well written BL couple, making all BL lovers go insane instead of the typical cliche stuff we get usually. I felt goosebumps many times while watching this show thanks to the phenomenal acting for the two leads.
This drama really took it's sweet time to evolve into something deeper until everything came together ... It was really a slow burn, it really took me some episodes because you don't know how this is gonna unfold in 16 episodes but omg this did something to me. The edit is great it shows all the tensions between them and how they grow closer as partners and friends even if they'd never define it as such. The actors were casted perfectly seriously

I just finished watching this show last night and I’m feeling so empty right now! This video is beautifully made, it shows their relationship so well. I fell in love with these two, with their constant bickering and intense (loving) gazes at each other. My first K-drama and couldn’t ask for more! A sour sweet ending with them no longer being partners but I’m sure they’ll keep in contact and showing up on one another’s house anytime. God I’m gonna miss them! And I fell so hard for Lee Dong-Sik, what a captivating character, so strong, smart and good-looking 😍❤️

It's not fatherly, the power dynamic is on entirely different levels so I can't say they're perfect partners, it's not entirely an amateur who learned from a veteran, not a self-righteous character turned psycho by influence, there's distance but there's no distance, there's not exactly a feeling of warmth.. Maybe it's plainly a repentant sinner by inexperience and by association and a man who took him as one of the Manyang people.

At first I wasn’t convinced about watching this show because the trailer seemed... meh. But omg this edit did a whole U-turn for me! I am in awe of their relationship!!

The end is satisfactory for the couple. They accepted each other as they are and I think is implicit that the relationship can continue. I think most of us wanted more affection between them, as a kiss or something, but I think the censorship in Korea wouldn't have been accepted it. Sad story. Thank you for the video 😃

He deserve more he burned everything for justice what did he get in return. Don’t shik too why did he need to get arrested ...... joo won crying broke me
I can't believe it. Lee Dong Shik should suspect Kang Jin Mook immediately. Instead he moved the fingers, and carried two mobile phones of victims. As a policeman he should know that his behavior would make him a prime suspect. Not sure why he took so long to figure out how to deal with the criminal.
In south korea you can't be tried for murder if the body of your victim/s isn't found. You can also be never tried again if the judge/jury declares you not guilty, even if more evidence is later discovered. He didn't know where is nieces body was, so he kept it a secret to find contrete evidence first, then reveal what he knew.
