The bear is amazing. I really liked S2. S3 was the weakest one but still has some great episodes.
Theres an episode named Forks in S2 thats insane. Followed by an almost as good episode thats the culmination of two seasons worth of charactwr development. Just great writing.

I have never seen The Bear. But I am interested now. You have an interesting take on intimacy and tenderness. Conflict resolution is a main component of any relationship. Pacing and rhythm definitely are synonyms when referencing story beats. As far as suggestions, the expanse? I mean it's Sci fi/ fantasy and fiction rolled into one haha.

I’ve heard good things about the expanse! I’ll have to add it to the list

This is actually one of my favorite shows on TV right now, while I think the second season was as consistent, it still had a few of my favorite one off episodes. The writing, as mentioned is really tight and flows well to capture the attention right off the bat which is hard to do today considering all the alternative entertainment we have such as streaming, video games and high budget shows with fancy stuff people call visual effects. This show is just a breath of fresh air.

A breath of fresh air is right! I’m enjoying season 2 so far and its little snippets of character moments.

I really like your analysis. I can definitely appreciate the quality of writing and acting but I originally bounced off The Bear after a couple episodes, with how intense it is it honestly stressed me out with everyone constantly yelling lol. But I think good writting should illicit an emotional response from the audiance and my response if anything is proof of the shows strengths. It just happened to be a bit much for me when I was looking for something to unwind with. I'm going to give this show another shot though and look for those quieter moments in between the intensity of the kitchen.

There was an episode in season 2 I had to pause and walk away from because it was just too much in the moment, so I totally understand. It’s something I take little bites of here and there.

Talking about rhythm, and vulnerability, and storytelling... I do have a suggestion.. have you ever considered doing a music video reaction? There is an artist named Ren, that I have been obsessed with for a little over a year now. I think you would really appreciate what he does. The video "Hi Ren" now has well over 20 million views, and in my opinion, every one is deserved.. his fan base also likes to support up-and-coming youtubers, so i think it looks like a perfect fit for something you might like to try... Fair warning.. if you like it nearly as much as i do (and thousands, if not millions of other people, at this point do) you are probably going to want to watch Soo many more... his story, which you can look up, or pretty much hear throughout his music, is one of the most inspirational in generations.

I actually love this idea! Thank you! Music videos are a storytelling medium I can really get into. Adding it to the list!
